Me and my girlfriend really liked the hotel, as it was really good located if u wanna go visit Venice. There is a bus stop about 5 Minutes away from the hotel. The Hotelstaff was really friendly and always helpful, when we had questions. The continental breakfast was the best i ever had-regarding that it was a continental breakfast-we had good coffee, croissants, bread, cheese an ham (if u ask for it), fruits, cornflakes, juice etc. Really nice and olf-fashined rooms (old-fashioned in a good way). The rooms can be a bit noisy (the walls might not be the thickest ones, but it was totally ok for us :-) We will definetaly come again, if we visit Venice!

Easy to find, 10 minute walk from Mestre railway station. Bus stops to/from Venice and Padua very close. Bus tickets can be bought at local shops. and are programmed with the number of journeys purchased, i.e. we would ask for two return tickets to Venice but be given a single card. This would then be validated twice at the start of the outward journey, and twice at the start of the return journey. We recommend you take the 53 bus to Padua for a picturesque journey along the Brenta canal. Hotel staff very friendly, particularly Giorgio who spoke excellent English and was a mine of information. Good market close by on Saturday mornings, and an even better one in central Mestre on Wednesday mornings. Hotel is on edge of a quiet mature residential district, but there are a number of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Rooms and corridors could be noisy at night. Breakfast was reasonable, comprising usual rolls, bread, jam, croissants, juice, tea, coffee. Unfortunately the hotel faces a busy road junction where local prostitutes ply their trade at night - this may upset or offend some guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again.

Very nice hotel in local neighborhood setting with easy access to Venice city center via local transit system and friendly staff. Georgio was fantastic...great info on what to do, how to get around town plus good recommendation to local pizzeria. Thank you for making our short trip to Venice big fun.

A comfortable European style hotel with reasonable rates. No lift, but only 3 stories. Very friendly staff eager to provide any information needed. A quiet residential area, but frequent access to Venice. Good pizzaria nearby; ask the staff. Short walk from Mestre train station makes it a very convenient location for catching the bus for a morning plane from VCE. This was my primary reason for staying there. Use the tunnel accessing the train tracks and exit on the opposite end from the station; using google maps and street view makes getting there quite easy.

A very pleasant staff. They offered us drinks, gave us free bus tickets, lends us an umbrella. The location is very convenient, the bus stop to Venice is very close to the hotel, there is a bus every 10mn during the day and a night every 20 mn. The train station is also very close. A very good hotel if you want/have to be outside the center of Venice.

A place worth the money. Location convenient to and from Venice with bus number 6 stop very close by. Also, walkable distance from Venice Mestre station. Breakfast is basic but decent. It was a bit cold at times in the room as they had not yet switched on the heating system in early october. The room itself was not located in Villa Serena but in an adjacent property. Recommended if you are looking for a decent place in Mestre area. No WiFi internet access though, access only through PC at the reception.

Rooms poorly furnished, with half-broken vases and dusty plastic flowers. One of the rooms we were offered smelled of toilet (we had to ask for another). But worst of all were the bathroom facilities: no shower stall, just a curtain around (!) the toilet seat. So literally one had to lean over the toilet to take shower. On top of this the hotel ran out of hot water by mid morning, so two of our friends had to take cold shower!

The hotel is nice and employees are friendly and welcoming. Surrounding is not great, but it is acceptable. The hotel is a 5 min walk distance from the train station and it is perfect as base to visit Venice and Veneto. I recommend it.
