I can't say enough about this hotel, it was a great location to stay and visit venice and because it was in the middle of Mestre we also had time to explore Mestre. The reception sold the tickets to the bus which was just outside the hotel to Venice and the very best, best thing was the restaurant (silver service) and food was delicious.

1) Room very fine, but bathroom is small. It was suitable for me, but I know people, who could not enter it. 2) The "10" for "Photographs" is an error. I do not understand the question. 3) Occation: Visiting old fortifications in the area and nearby towns. 4) Clients: Very difficult question. I think wealthy part of the middle class. 5) The kitchen is very good, and I enjoied my meals very much. 6) I have only one point of criticism: The shoo-polishing machine outside the backdoor had no polish.

Breakfast is ok, everybody was very friendly the hotel has a private parking area. The bus station is just arround the corner and it takes arround 10 minutes to get to Venice. There is a big shopping mall just arcoss the street I would stay there again.

This hotel is a very good destination. to go to venezia, you only have to take a bus and then the vaporetos it takes 20 minutes and cost 10 € per day for using all the vaporettos the room is in total harmony with the venezian style, and the lunch time is very pleasant. very good quality of all the meats.

The hotel was average for its class. The location and convenience to both Venice and the Marco Polo Airport is outstanding. Bus stops very close to the hotel offer direct access to both locations. The one real negative about the hotel was the restaurant. Although it is visually attractive and seems to have a good menu, the service is terrible and the food below average. You are better off walking a couple of blocks than eating here.

There was construction in front of the hotel so finding it was more challenging than was necessary. Follow the road signs, not your GPS. The staff was very professional. They have parking challenges, and they know it, and they address them right up front. They know the area and that people are generally there to visit Venice and are very helpful with details, such as bus routes and boats in Venice. The room was small, but adequate and very clean. It was the nicest room we stayed in while in Italy, just small. The breakfast was good and there was nice variety. Overall, a great place compared to the price in Venice and just a short bus ride away.

A family room (4 people) at this price at this time of year was very good. The room was small but sufficient (no fridge in room but water available at reception). We had an excellent meal in the restaurant on our second night. Clear instructions on how to get to and from Venice. Great shopping centre opposite the hotel. Free parking right outside and friendly staff. Only criticism was the musty carpet smell in the hallways (bedroom ok).

We thought it was a good hotel. The staff were polite and even when asked if we could change rooms (front rooms a bit noisy) there was no problem at all. Overally, it is a good hotel. The rooms are a bit small but that's what you get in Italy. The property is a few blocks from the bus station and you can simply go to venezia from there. But be aware that the return station from Venezia to Mestre is different. if you dont get off the bus somewhere in Capuccina street, you will get lost! The hotel staff are of no help in this regard. Actually one of them misguided us!!!

Unfortunately during our stay there was nearby construction in progress, so the noise level was very high. The location of the hotel is close to the bus stop and the hotel provides 3 day bus passes to Venice for a reasonable fee. The room size and breakfast was adequate. I felt that the price for the room was appropriate and would probably stay at this hotel in the future.

MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A ROOM WITH NO ANTS. My wife and I both ride motorcycles and we arrived on a Friday and allocated a small room. We wanted a no-smoking room and were told we would be moved the following day. On Saturday morning when we woke up, my wife discovered ants in her helmet. I say again ants crawling around her helmet. We complained and were again told we would be moved. On Saturday night we returned from a trip to Venice and we had beem moved to a larger room. My wife took a shower and again discovered ants in the bathroom. We complained again and they had no rooms to move us to. They suggested hoovering the room to get rid of some of them, but by this stage we had reached the end of our patience. We discovered another hotel quite close and moved that night to it. Venezia charged us for the two nights even though we stayed for just one. So beware, when booking a room, try asking for one with NO ANTS.

The room was satisfactory and breakfast was satisfactory. The room was small, but we expected that. The directions to the hotel (we were driving a rental car) were terrible. We got lost several times until we finally found the place. Too many mirrors in the hotel (the lobby, dining room, elevator and room itself!). All in all, it was satisfactory.

Judging by some of the previous comments, I think Hotel Venezia is very under rated. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms neat and clean with lifts to all floors. Breakfast was a pleasure and the restaurant decor and food were much better than expected. An a la carte menu in English for those of us not wishing to struggle with Italian. Waiters deserve a special mention because they were all friendly, spoke good English but still retained their professional manner. It is an excellent base for visiting Venice and the surrounding area. Buses to Venice are very frequent and getting back no problem at all. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will certainly use it again if in the area.

Generally very nice and clean place, our room was not very spacious though. But you dont go to Venice to stay in the room, do you? Good choice for breakfast. Hotel well located to visit Venezia via public transports very very easy. However, better directions from the airport to get to the hotel would be appreciated we took the number 14 bus as stated and had to tranfer to bus (4 or 4L )which is not advertised it is a good thing we asked the driver how to get to the stop. The staff were very accomodating as the first morning due to jet lag we overslept and the breakfast was finished nonetheless the staff allowed us to get in. At the reception the attendant spoke french which was appreciated. We recommend this hotel and would gladly return to it.

The hotel is beautiful, stylishness and in a good place in Mestre, just near the bus and shopping. At the breakfast, only one thing, there was not enought fruits for me, only apples. Just near the hotel there is a good snack with delicious things to eat and dont go tho the garibaldi pizzeria 44 via palazzo a street just near in mestre, 45 euros for one grappa its a robbery. The bus to venizzia is just a at the corner of the street. I had a good journey in mestre and I ll be back there next year. I choozed the hotel on venere and Y wasn t displeased.

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Venezia, during the Carneval. Hotel is very nice, very close to the bus stop from where we could reach Venezia. (You can buy bus tickets at the reception). There is a free parking lot, so we could leave our car at the hotel. Room was OK, however the bathroom was extremely tiny. (but for 2 nights it was OK.) Breakfast was nice, with a wide range of selection. Overall I recommend this hotel for travellers, who needs only a place to sleep somewhere, and dont want to spend much time in the hotel room.

Good hotel for independent business or leisure traveller, with free car park (although pre-booking space advised, particularly in busy seasons, as limited spaces available)general atmosphere very much traditonal "Venetian" but not for those of more modern tastes! Dinners in restaurant good, although some of the waiters could be little more welcoming! Despite practice at driving in Italy, direction signs not easy to see! No safe in room, which was inconvenient & lighting in bathroom poor, but generally good value for money. Transport to Venice itself available, altho' didn't use it, but others seemed happy with it.Various languages spoken, for those who don't speak italian. Position in central Mestre(mainland to Venice)useful for shopping & communications to other parts, but would need to go into Venice proper for those requiring night life, which would mean taxi ride at least. Would definitely use hotel again when in that area.

Good facility, challenging to find with the one-way streets and Italy's many different road signs. Good service, good food in hotel, free local area map, onsite parking was good (but small as everywhere in Italy), various good shops/services around the local area. Breakfast options were good. Bus ticket to Island of Venice available to purchase at front desk was very handy. We would come back on our next trip, whenever that may be..!!

Quarto amplo e limpo.Banheiro maior do que o padrão europeu. Ar-condicionado eficiente e silencioso.

Get a map from Hotel Venezia before driving by car. The location indicated on web maps was incorrect. Fortunately the hotel had signs on the streets that took us right to it. The quad room was really a double with 2 extra beds shoe-horned in. The beds were too soft and seemed old. Noise from next door was loud (noisy American kids). Travel to/from Venice was fairly easy with bus stop vey close. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but was surprised that it was difficult to find another restaurant close by. We finally found a good one but would not be able to find it again. Mestre seemed like a lovely town, but did not have the time to spend exploring. No computer available for email or internet. There are lots of hotels around and I would probably try another next time. I needed a quad and there are not an abundance of those around. Overall the room was OK, but not spectacular.

Good price-quality relation for Venedig. Very friendly and compentent staff. Very nice room but not too spacious. Breakfast was ok (no eggs. Free of charge parking space. We had to cancel a reservation some month ago on the day of arrival, which was acceptet without charge. Close to public transport to Venedig - but to San Marco Place you need close to one hour. Nice market, shops and few restaurants in the surroundings. If we would not choose a hotel in Venedig next time we would cerainly go again to Venezia.

Hotel was good with an excellent bus service into Venice that took less than 20 minutes. Mestra itself was also an interesting location.

Perfect welcoming, high quality restaurant (with not exaggerated prices), very nice rooms and high competence of the employees. Only a little problem: the bath is very small and even the rooms are not very big. Recommended.

Your reception staff were more than helpfull when they offered us two adjoining rooms to accomodate our two children (9 and 10 years)and ourselves.-at no extra expense-.The service continued to be exceptional for the rest of our stay. The hotel staff were helpful and very affable.

I was using this hotel as a base to visit Verona, Padua and around, and it was Ok for that, although quite a long walk from the train station (20mins brisk walk). While the transport connections to Venice itself are not bad I think that anyone visiting Venice should look for a hotel on the island. This hotel wasn't cheaper than a hotel on the island and the surroundings had nothing at all to commend them. Apart from the springs in the bed having seen better days there was nothing wrong with the hotel (in fact it was quite nice) it was just far away from the station.

The shower without any kind of cabine/threashould/floor seems not appropriate to 3-star hotel. The room was VERY small

As I learned, hotel rooms (and bathrooms) in italy are miniscule! However, that is clearly not the fault of Venere or anyone else - it is how it is. This hotel was nicely appointed. Ate supper there one night and it was excellent. Mestre is just a few minutes from Venice so was an excellent choice for us.
