Although this hotel is a little difficult to get to from Mestre station, it is superb value for money. It is also very well located for the bus service to Venice. The breakfast is excellent and the local neighbourhood has a nice vibe. There is an excellent restaurant around the corner and several basic but great value cafes in the area. Outstanding.

Nice little Hotel, spacious rooms, clean, room with tiles no carpet, no bad smell, room and bathrooms seems quite new no spot snail scraths dust or oldness, both room and bathroom with window on open area. Nice staff, good breakfast, good connections with Venice, good services in the surrounding. Considering it was easter week the price we paid was ridiculous. I'm going to use it again next time i go to venice, I suggest it for the high relation price quality.

Older hotel so a bit "seedy". Great neighborhood. Bus stops very close so you can get to the train station and Venice within 15 minutes. The great thing about this hotel was the staff. It was cold when we checked in and the staff said they could not turn the heat on until the 15th (which was 2 days later). But with some coaxing it was turned on that night. Breakfast was good.

Struttura eccellente. Tornerei in qualsiasi momento. Excellent hotel. Very close to the bus stop to Venice. Personnel efficient and very kind, large rooms and conditioned air. Close by, there a couple of inexpensive restaurant-pizzerias, useful when you come back from a full day of walking in Venice. I would come back any time.

The proprietors could not do enough to help. Their kindness and hospitality were superb. We arrived early but were able to use our room straightaway. They gave us information about public transport into Venice, let us use the internet and gave us breakfast early. The hotel is a traditional town hotel, very well located for exploring Venice. Access from the motorway is easy.

I have given the Hotel Roma a low rating on cleanliness of rooms due to the fact that there was a persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel even though all rooms were supposedly non-smoking. I am a non-smoker and I had to move to another hotel because of this.

It has been our first stay in Marghera. We enjoyed it as it´s a nice, clean and peaceful area, very convenient to visit Venice. Bus service is excellent and the bus stop close to the hotel. The hotel didn´t disappointed us as we have seen the pictures before. Venice is Venice and hotels aren´t good price for what the offer. What we disliked the most was the room, bad taste decoration, very old fashioned style. But the mattress was comfortable and this is what it really matters after an exhausting day in Venice. The bathroom was perfect, modern and just renovated. Couldn´t ask for more for a two nights stay.

Friendly staff, eager to help. Though not all of them spoke english, but that was not a problem. Clean rooms and overall very good service. The hotel is 20 minutes away (by bus) from main venice, there are frequent bus services till midnight. A good place to stay if you have to count your money.

Hands down the price for the hotel room plus car parking was the best we have found at the time. It was a little difficult to find the hotel, as it took us 45 minutes getting lost on the narrow streets once we got off the highway. The staff was courteous, and helpful in recommending places to eat in the evening, and our favorite - a Gelatto store at the corner of the street, just a 2 minutes walk. As well, in recommending to buy the combo bus and vaporetti tickets, including directions to the bus station. The breakfast was more than filling and it included, boiled eggs, a variety of cheeses, deli meats, milk and cereals, tea, coffee, and best of all the every morning delicious fresh baked croissants. Would stay again at this hotel.

This hotel is a bus ride from the city with the bus stop around the corner. It was easy to find, just off the autostrade into Venice, and in a quiet neighborhood with a nearby restaurant and a gelato place close enough to walk at night. The front desk is very helpful.

This is a wonderful alternative to staying in the much more expensive Venice, just a 10 minute bus ride away. The staff was helpful and provided a nice continental breakfast of cafe, juice, pastries, cereals, and cheese and meats. And being away from the island it was much quieter. Clean rooms and a look at non tourist Italy. A real gem.

It was O.K., but the neighbours were noisy, and we could hear every single word, even the TV turned on. The crew is nice and helpful, thogh the clerk mentioned the tourist ticket for Venice (10,50 € for a day) earlier.
