I really liked this hotel. The staff was really nice, they speak English perfectly and are very helpful. The room was quite cozy and warm (I was there in winter) and very clean. It's true that it was small, especially the bathroom, but it doesn't matter that much. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and a really good start of the day as well. Two minutes walk from the train station and the bus to Venice.

The double room I stayed into was OK, with minibar and code-controlled safe incorporated in the wardrobe, but the bathroom and especially the shower cabin is extremely small, a normal person fits, but a bigger person has no place to move and wash. All in all, I do not regret at all choosing Hotel Regit.

it's a good choice to stay in Mestre and spend one day in Venice. You avoid the trouble of parking since the hotel near by has a few garage. (the nearst one by car 1 min wiht 5 euro/day). I would think for a short stay to visit to veneice this is the best arrangement.

Definitely, I won´t recommend this hotel to my friends. The rooms were so small, that you and your lugagge can not be in them at the same time. It was impossible to walk in it or to open the closet because it was so close of the bed that there wasn´t enough space to do it. The staff was totally unhelpful. When I complaint about the room, and told them that couldn´t be a double, they didn´t care. When I request a map of the city, they wanted to charge me for it. The breakfast was Ok. The location was good.

Receptionists were courteous and helpful. Easy access to train station and bus stop (commute to Venice). Hotel was clean, spacious and nicely maintained. Air conditioning is not available during our stay luckily the streets were not as busy and noisy compared to Rome and Florence. Only complaint I have is the room I have does not have shower stall, there is a tub and the shower head is not stationary which makes it hard to wash your hair.

eduardo at the reception is great! always helpful and friendly! the hotel is just 1 minute from the train-station "mestre", which is 1stop from venice (5 minutes, ticket is 1€) even used the chance to go to milan for 40€ p.p. (2way)!

The hotel is not located in a really nice area. The room had only small windows. We could hardly see the daylight, but it was quiet contrary to those rooms facing the street with bus- and truck traffic. The advantage however, is that the bus for Venice leaves from the same street (bus stop in about 100 yards distance). Our car could be parked in an adjacent lot at additional costs.

The Regit was great and amazingly clean. It is next to a very busy intersection and was very noisy with tour buses and trucks. However, it was easy to find and the staff was nice.

Good value and decent hotel. I was very impressed when I was offered coffee and a croissant very early in the morning, even though the "official breakfast" time was two hours later! (I had to catch an early train.)

The rooms were extremely spacious, clean, and well decorated. The hotel had the convenience of an elevator. The hotel is walking distance to the Mestre train station, the bus stop to goto Venice, and also the center of Mestre. I stayed at this hotel on two occasions and will stay here again. I requested a single room, both times but was pleasantly given a double bed. The ensuite was not cramped and had modern facilities. The breakfast area was decent and it looked like they had place to sit outside, but as it was October, the patio was closed. As a single female traveller, I felt safe at this location.

Though this hotel was very clean and the bed very comfortable!-a hotel that over looks a car park is not an ideal place to stay when visiting Venice as the beauty of Venice is in stark contrast to this hotels location. It is fine if you are not bothered too much about location but, in hind site I would not pick this hotel purely on it's location.Staff were friendly and transport into Venice is very easily found-train station is a 3 minute walk and buses, literally, stop outside. The trains into Venice are frequent and it takes all of 7 minutes to get there. It is a clean basic hotel-not sure if it deserves a 3 star rating though.

I'm very satisfied from my staying in hotel Regit. The hotel was wery well positiond only 100m from the train station to Venice and less from the bus station. The room was very nice, not too spacy but well equiped and comfortable. The information received via internet is very realistic. Overall I spent a nice time there and I would be happy to suggest this resort to other my friends and colleagues.

I was extremely happy with this hotel - the room was beautiful and the staff very pleasant. The room was a little noisy from about 6 a.m. as the traffic started to build up, but it was the only slight flaw. The location was ideal for my needs, close to the railway station and to the airport bus drop off point. I will definitely stay in this hotel again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Convenient hotel for travelers not willing to spend $$$ sleeping in Venecia. Only 10 minutes by bus to Venecia (bus leaves almost right in front of hotel, and runs every 20 minutes). We were a bit disappointed by the standing of the hotel: it is very recent, nice hall, clean rooms, but you probably except something more from a 3-star hotel. Air conditions was not working when we got in the room, and it hardly did after we turned it on. Breakfast was very poor: only bread, croissants and yoghurts. No fruits, no eggs, no cheese, ham, cereals etc. Staff was very helpful though! Always ready to help and give advice. The area is only industrial so you won't find nice places to eat out except McDonald's and a little cafe at the (ugly) train station. To sum up: good choice of hotel if you're looking for something practical, clean, with friendly staff, but not the standing of a 3-star hotel, and awful surroundings.

Our stay at the hotel was perfect. The hotel is around the corner from the railway station. There are frequent services to Venice until midnight. To use the train you can buy one way tickets (only 1 euro) at the counters or station shops, that you need to validate at the stamping machines on the stations of Mestre or Venice (on your way back). The train takes you to downtown Venice (Canal Grande) were you can walk to the famous spots or take the waterbus (10,50 for a 24h pass) to get you around in Venice. The Hotel has no parking of its own, but there are a lot of Parkings at close distance (for about 4 euros a day). We took the parking next door, but this one closes at 22:00 and starts counting the hours of the next day from 6:00 onwards (so you might catch up quite some hours on the day of departure). Maybe the 24/24h parkings have a fairer system.

Mezzi publici a Venezia molto conveniente. (Autobus alla Piazzale Roma 1.50 €, Treno alla stazione Santa Lucia 1.00€) Servizio gentile e competente. Albergo citadino molto conciliabile.

Though The Regit is located in mid-town Mestre, we were never annoyed by noise. The Regit is located on a direct bus line into Venice, and buses are quite frequent. A 20 minute ride saved considerably on the cost of visiting Venice. The staff obviously knows Venice well. Would recommend The Regit to anyone.
