Shuttle bus is only for a few passengers and to book at 7:00 - 2 min before its not possible, 2 min after all places already booked. Breakfast(-staff) incompetent and useless (example: you have to boil your (very tiny) egg by yourself - but only 6 people can do this at 1 time and it takes at least 6min because its not boiling!)

This was a good place for my family with two kids 10 and 13. Public transportation into Venice was right across the street and tickets could be purchased at the front desk. The people at the front desk were very helpful. There are only a few stores nearby, which is ok if you know in advance. Our room was small for four people, but fit the price and we were only there to sleep. We would go back again.

My only comment concerns mosquitoes at the reception and restaurant, but not in the rooms. I think you would rather find solutions for that. For the rest it was "superbo".

This hotel is a good choice for a quick and relatively cheap visit to venice. The bus to venice stops at the hotel door and in 20 minutes you are at the bus terminal in venice. It is a much cheaper hotel than those you would find in venice itself. However, there is a reason for the low price. It offers minimal comfort. Our non smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke and the shower stall had mildew. Some of the breakfast food was low quality and some of it was stale, but we managed to find some reasonable edible things. On the other hand the bed was comfortable, which at the end of the day was what counted for me. Overall at a cheap hotel you pay little and you get little. Good for one or two nights and no more.

South American people, never go to this hotel!! I arrived late at night (I had already adviced so) and the emplyee just instructed me to pay in advance. Then he gave me the key and no receipt (I should go for it the following day). When I checked out, another employee asked me to pay, call the alleged Manager, Supervisor or Owner, he never even looked at me and after finding out that I came from South America, he instructed his assistant to make me pay, AGAIN. It was terrible, I explained by all possible means that I had paid up my bill but in a very rude manner they just said that I had not paid because I could not show a receipt. VENERE is a very serious company and provides quality services. I think that corrective action should be taken against Palladio Hotel and its general manager as I was forced to duplicate payment, either because of a trick of an inescrupulous employee or becasue of an inescrupulous and disgusting way to make additional money or to discourage hosting american guests. Very dissapointing !. I will file a formal complaint with the proper authorities.

It was a very nice hotel, clean, spacious rooms, competency of staff but I cannot say that our stay here was pleasant. We had a family room on the top floor and we had NO water pressure in the morning. It literally dripped out of the shower head. Although it was located in a very quiet and nice residential area it was too far from Venice and the bus does not run to schedule in Italy....so you could wait much longer for your ride. I would not advise taking the bus in summer if you are older or with young children because the bus ride is long, crowded and the AC most likely does not work.

Nice hotel, clean and spacious room (quad) with air con'. Tricky to find, in Malcontenta NOT Marghera! Half hour by bus to Venice from outside hotel - 1.10 euro each way! Big underground car park. Restaurant not open every night, saw a pizzeria near hotel, didn't find any other shops/bars/restaurants nearby.(we ate in Mestre and Venice). Great value for families 134 euro for 2 nights(we booked very early)!

Good location to stay when visiting Venice and it's surroundings. Due to the bus stop in front of the hotel, you can virtually connecto to any location by public transport for most of the day. The price is good for the quality of the stay, Breakfast OK. Would stay there again.

We have had big problems with some customers during the night. They are very drunk and make the "java" during long hours. I try to call the desk to do something, infortunetly nobody answer. When just about to pay the bill, I complain, explaining the situation and I try to negociate a discount. It was impossible to negociate, consequently, I pay the normal price for one night, during witch nobody has slept. I have also promissed to the management to do a good publicity for their hotel

Located in industrial area. Price for 2 adults + 2 children in one room was 145 EUR compared to 100 EUR for better hotels in Germany. But that must be the Venice factor. Very close to public buss to Venice - easy and cheap. Nice staff, some experienced and serviceminded some needed to improve on both. Breakfast buffet rather simple.

The Bathroom was too small. The first reception person was friendly and went beyond the call of duty to assist us in reservation, but during check-out the lady was very rude and pulled a paper out of our hand which was very rude.

We did not enjoy this experience. The room was a box without a proper window - it was claustrophobic. A change of room was "not possible". We found the member of staff on duty as unhelpful. The hotel claims to have a restaurant - but that only operates if there is a coach load in.

The hotel is very hard to find, it needs more accurate explanation. It is easy to move to Venece by bus, the busstation is just in front. Good and secure parking for cars. It was not Internet conecction in the room.

The Palladio worked well for our family of five as a place to overnight before our trip to Venice in the morning. We had adjacent but not connected rooms, a triple and a double. The rooms were clean, air conditioned, and in good repair. The hotel is a short distance from the ferry and not far from the Autostrada. The area around the hotel leaves a bit to be desired, but there is a nice restaurant next door. Breakfast is not included for those booking through a website like Venere, and I was told it was an extra 10 Euros per person! We opted for some rolls at the restaurant next door on our way to the ferry. This is definitey not a destination hotel, but is good value for day trips to Venice.

This was the dirtiest room we encountered on our trip. Carpet was dingy with dirt, shower doors weren't cleaned on a regular basis by the looks of the built up water deposits and soap scum, mildew on some areas of the tile. The public areas are really nice and clean, so we were surprised when we saw the room. It was the most expensive we stayed at outside of Rome. Since it was the end of our trip and only two nights we decided not to look for another hotel. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in either. We plugged it in, but then discovered the next day that the plug for it was connected to the power which went out when you pull out your keycard when you leave the room. We finally found the right plug that did not shut off, so hopefully whoever stays there after will get use of the refrigerator. When we asked for ice, the desk lady lied and said they didn't have any, even though the guy working the night before gave us some when we told him about the refrigerator. As stated in other reviews they are charging an additional 10 euro per person for breakfast, which we found out at check out, not check in. Save your money, not worth the 10 euro. If you do have breakfast there, you may have to check their breakfast schedule to see if you can be accomodated as they have a lots of tour groups staying there, all on a schedule and only one person working in the breakfast room. So it takes a while to clean up between groups. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The advantage is that you can catch the bus into Venice right outside the hotel and they provide a pretty good map for Venice, which you will need. It was convenient not to stay right in Venice which is difficult to navigate and lugging your bags through the streets, up and down the stairs of the bridges to find your hotel could be irksome. I would stay outside of Venice if I went back, but would definitely try another hotel.

I would really like to reccomend this hotel to people who are visiting Venice. The hotel is easy to access from the highway if you are coming by car and offers a garage parking free of charge. Even though we were only staying for a single night (taking a break in the middle of the way) the staff was very helpful and admitted us to leave the car in the garage for the time we were visiting Venice after having checked out of the hotel. Public transport to Venice is great, the bus station is directly in front of the hotel with the busses operating on an hourly schedule. The rooms are nice, very clean and are equipped with an aircondition. Breakfast is buffet type with quite a lot to chose from, only the price of 12 euros per person seemed to be a bit high. Finally we would like to highlight our very helpful reception clerk who took the time to inform us about the bus connection, restaurants in Venice, places to see, etc. in a very nice and supportive way. Try this hotel, I'm sure you're going to like it as much as we did.

We wanted to leave this hotel before we even went to our room. The carpets were filthy the rooms small and dingy and seemed unclean. The lights kept blowing a fuse and putting us into total darkness. The rooms were to be side by side and they were not. Over all it should be a 2 star hotel not a 3.

In general, I did *not* satisfy. I booked on venere.com a double room but I received a twin room. When we arrived, there still were 3 double rooms left but they did not give one to us, they gave them to an other bigger group !!! This is 3-star hotel but the breakfast is not included in the room price !!! It costs 10 euro per person for a very little breakfast with only bread, milk, coffee. There also no mention about breakfast and its price on the venere.com webpage. We (5 people) stayed in Rome in 3-star hotel Cascina Palace for about 150 euro/night with a good breakfast. Another 3-star hotel, Ducale, with breakfast included, in Mestre (10km from Venezia) for 5 people for only 140 euro/night But for this hotel, 210 euro/5 nguoi/night (160 room price + 50 euro breakfast) and 15km from Venezia !!! Is it a good choice ???

The hotel is located in an industral area. Surroundings are not great. The best reason to stay there is, because of the free parking and the easy connection to Venice. The bus to Venice is located on the opposite side of the street, but it is hard to find out as the reception people are not explaining it very understandibly. When you go back from Venice you have to make sure the returning bus goes back via Malcontenta (which is max 1 bus per hour), otherwise you land in the prairie. Be aware that they are charging eur 10 per person for the breakfast!

Everything was OK, except for the fact that I booked a triple room and I got two beds and one extendable sofa. I had also to pay extra 15 Euros per night for my under 10 year child (I signed for that!) and in the end, on the receipt I was charged as for a quadruple room.

The hotel is nice, but unluckely is in an area really humid and full of mosquitos. The restaurant is a self-service, very good for the breakfast, but really poor for all the other meal. It should be better have a real restaurant with a reduced choise in the menu.
