Hotel Mondial - Mestre

The room looked clean, but once during our stay it was cleaned with a very strong chemical that I could hardly breathe when entering the room. Luckily it was not extremely cold outside so we slept on open window. Our rate was with free internet connection. First it appeared that it is only 1.5 hours per day. After that it appeared that the Wi-Fi can't be reached from my room. But the worst was when I actually connected to the rooter from the lobby. The connection was so slow that I managed to check the weather forecast after 30 minutes waiting. Forget about sites like Facebook. Not possible to connect at all. Our rate was also with breakfast, but it was quite poor. I expected at least a nice coffee from a hotel in Italy. The flooring in the corridors is extremely loud when someone walks. You can hear from bed every person coming to his/her room. The positive with the hotel is that it is close to the bus stop to Venice and close to the train station.

I like hotel Mondial very much. What I dislike? Check in is too late in 3PM without compromise and check out is too early in 10AM.If you want to leave luggage you have to pay for every piece and for every day - check in day and check out day.In most hotels leaving luggage is free of charge.

It has a good price/performance ratio. But check if similar prices can be found in the center of Mestre, where the bars and restaurants are located.

Everything almost excellent. The wi-fi was free only for 1.30Hour pes day :S All THe other astonishing! THanks, I'll recommend everyone!

The hotel is not well referenced for GPS. The GPS drove us under a highway in a very badlooking place full of prostitutes!

Great location. Room is good but the shower space is so little and bed is not that comfy. Value for the money though.

Although the triple room was very tiny, the hotel has a good location next to the bus stop.

The hotel was good but I prefer to stay in Venice.

The area is very quiet and nice. The hotel is close to the station, which is important for getting the fast and easier way to Venice. Bus stop and station are next to each other. The bus for the airports also leave and pick you at/from this station. As I have stated in the query, the hotel is very clean and practical from all points of view. The only thing that I could improve at this hotel, would be the breakfast. If you get up later, then you will only find croissants, bread, butter and ham for breakfast. Nothing warm. Warm stuff only for the ones who get up early in the morning and even then in small amounts. But the bread, and the cheese, together with the croissants are always there in big amounts. Important is you still find smth. to eat, so that you won't starve. Otherwise I would warmly recommend it to anyone. The quality/price proportion together with the location are very advantageous. I did not regret and would go a second time to the same hotel.

the hotel should have provided unlimitied free wifi which they failed to do it. The hotel said I can only have 1 and half hour wifi during my stay. I found the wifi didnot work at all.
