The only downside to this hotel is that it is a long bus ride to Venice. On the up side, the bus is empty when you get on. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is interesting and has numerous great restaurants.

Garaje too small, works for fiat5... Room quite small. Floor not so clean in the room. They do not have envelope shits (that cover the blanchet entirely), if you roll over while you sleep the blanchet(not washed) touches your skin and it's not very hygenic. No view from the windows but lots and lots of muschitoes. The hair drier shood rather stay in a museum. Too expensive for what they offer.

Als Ausgangspunkt nach Venedig gedacht, entsprach das Garibaldi voll den Erwartungen. Der Klasse entsprechend auch das Angebot. Verkehrsmässig hervoragend da direkt am öffentlichen Busweg liegend mit Stationen 100m und 20m vom Hoteleingang entfernt, super für einen mehrtägigen Venedigbesuch. Gute Informationen durch das Personal über Möglichkeiten rundeten das Bild ab. Einfach ein gutes 3-Sterne-Hotel für solch einen Aufenthalt. Mestre selbst kann für einen abendlichen Ausklang beim Bummeln und Abendessen durchaus empfolen werden.

posizione ottima per raggiungere venezia,visto che proprio davanti all'albergo c'è la fermata del bus(n2) che con solo 20-25 minuti arriva a piazzale roma. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, l'unica pecca il BAGNO,piccolo,senza areatore, doccia praticamente inesistente, senza chiave (la mia era una tripla). Cmq, il voto: OTTIMO!

Posizione centrale, comoda per arrivare a Venezia. Molto comodo il parcheggio gratutito interno all'HOTEL. Personale molto accogliente e gentile.

Rooms a bit small, very small bathroom, but acceptable for a 3-star. Bedroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Staff very friendly and helpful, advised on bus & boat tickets and times. Well placed for the main bus routes from Mestre into Venice. Handy for the shops in Mestre too.

How to reach Hotel Garibaldi

By car
The hotel lies approximately 1 km from the highway exit. Merge onto the tangenziale ring-road and take the Castellana exit. Follow the indications to centro and then look out for signs leading to Hotel Garibaldi.

By train
The hotel is located around 1 km from the Venezia Mestre railway station. Take bus line 2 and get off in Viale Garibaldi, very close to the property.

By airplane
From the Venezia-Marco Polo airport you can either take a taxi (approximately €20,00) or reach the hotel by bus; take line 15 and get off in Viale Garibaldi. The hotel is right in front of the bus stop.
