Hotel Delle Rose - Mestre

The breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly. The room was very hot in spite of cool weather outside, but the air conditioning was very effective.The bus to town was a 7 min. walk away, and the bus took more than 15 min., not 10. For the price we paid the hotel was adequate.

Delle Rose is a very clean and well organised family hotel. The owner and staff were always welcoming and helpful. The hotel is situated 100 metres from a bus stop. Buses to Venice are usually every 15 minutes and the journey to Venice takes only 10 minutes. An excellent and inexpensive alternative to the hotels on the lagoon.

It was our first trip to Venice during the busy vogalonga weekend. The hotel is well situated for public transport into rhe centre,frequent bus service, 3 mins walk from hotel. Welcoming quiet location, nice little green corner to have a drink or coffee . Breakfasts fantastic, ample and good choice and variety. Rooms clean and reasonably priced. Staff extemely helpful and friendly. Will recommend this hotel to friends and will use it again on next trip to Venice.

The staff at the hotel could not have been more welcoming or helpful. It was a perfect location for seeing Venice without paying excessively for accomodation. Simple, clean with everything to meet your needs. Shower lacked a bit of pressure but not enough to be concerned about.

Provided breakfast 'bread-rolls' too hard-crusted ... otherwise 'fair' ...!

my stay 11-13.9.08 in this hotel meet overall my imagines from the webpages! and near the bus to "venedig-luzia", that was my real destination. also very quiet in the night. nice personal.will return another time here.

Si bien los alrededores del hotel no son muy buenos, la ubicacion para llegar al centro de Venecia es excelente. se toma un colectivo que te deja en menos de 10 minutos en Piazzale Roma. Para ser un hotel 2 estrellas el desayuno es completo y la atencion del personal es excelente.

En général c'était bien... sauf qu'il faisait chaud dans la chambre et lorsqu'on ouvrait les fenêtres, les maringoins entraient.... et l'air climatisé n'entrait en fonction que plus tard dans la saison.....

Great place to stay on the mainland. Our room seemed a bit small but we did have 4 big bags. The staff was great and didn't mind that our plane was delayed and we didn't arrive until 0500. Close to a bus stop so getting to the island was easy.

An excellent medium-priced efficiently-run small hotel - very friendly welcoming staff who can give all information needed for getting to and from Venice, eating and shopping in hotel area. Copious self service breakfast (would have liked real Italian coffee rather than instant coffee but maybe could have asked for it). Clean, comfortable rooms - small but adequate space. Bathroom facilities fine (taps could do with some maintenance.) Thin walls - some noisy children first evening but this is a risk everywhere. Excellently situated for getting to Venice -10-minute bus ride, bus stop a few metres from hotel. Very frequent bus service running from early morning to late at night. We have had several trips to Venice and have always stayed in Mestre because the prices are less expensive. The bus is fast and cheap to travel over to Venice. The train station is close by to travel elsewhere thoughout Italy. Mestre is a wonderful town and riding bikes is easy because of the bike paths. The Delle Rosa is perfect in its location.

Correspond tres bien a la description sur le site. Emplacement parfait pour aller visiter venise par bus en 15 min. Bon parking. Beaucoup de moustiques, mais appareil anti-moustique dans chaque chambre. Tres forte odeur de canalisations dans la salle de bains!!! Tres désagréable. Hormis ce probleme qui, je pense pourrait etre réparé, je suis satisfait de cet hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. The hotel is well situated for visiting Venice. Only 10 minutes by local bus for the cost of 1 Euro. The furniture in the room is a little out of date but we had a great terrace outside our room. The doors are very thin so you can hear everything outside the room. Breakfast is more the Italian style but okay.

Hotel is well situated. Room are tidy but clear. We had a great terrance on the roof. It is sitauted near the bus stop to Venice. Good point for tourist who want to see Venice. Bardzo dobrze połozony bliziutko przystanku autobusowego do Wenecji. Pokój niewielki, ale czysty, nasz miał ogromny taras na dachu. Dobre miejsce wypadowe do Wenecji autobus jedzie około 7 minut.

very convenient situated for frequent public transport to Venice,10 minutes. friendly and helpful,good breakfast for a small italien hotel, shops,bars and restaurants catering for local people just around the corner,attractive priced in any respect compared with overcharging and spoiled Venice.This part of Mestre is not at all so unpleasant as expected.We enjoyed staying there,to be recommended to those in search for value for money

muy recomendable. Mauro, Federica y su padre son muy amables y te orientaran en cualquier duda. Esta fuera del bullicio de Vencia y a la vez en muy facil llegar, Ellos te orientaran donde tomar el camion. Es un hotel sencillo pero es la mejor opcion calidad/precio

Für Venedigaufenthalte gut geeignetes Hotel, da die Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe liegt und das Auto auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz gut aufgehoben ist. Der Portier empfahl eine Pizzeria in der Nähe, die durchaus ok war. Gerade für Jugendliche interessanter ist aber "A E Oche" auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite, wo man ebenfalls sehr gut essen kann. Etwas wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück im Hotel.

We have found all hotell-personell friendly in Italy, but Delle Rose had the better breakfast. Also the rooms are more spacious than I would expect them to be on the islands, down-town Venize. The bus was 10 min to Venize, and left every 10 min. We were happy here!

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wery good. Free parking, easy and quick trip to Venice. Excellent value for money.

The kind and competent attitude of the owner towards the guests of the hotel, the additional information concerning the most convenient transportation, cultural events and arts.

Nice location, romantic hotel but a few problems with the quality of the room, such as erroneous air-condition (bad smell...), moisture in the room, dead mosquitoes on the walls, low quality windows and balcony door, very low sound insulation (!!!), spiders etc. Not a very good memory from Mestre.

Sehr nettes und familiär geführtes Haus, das ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bietet. Ideal für einen Aufenthalt um Venedig zu erkunden. Busstation nur wenige Meter entfernt. Sehr persönlicher und aufmerksamer Service!

This is an excellent alternative for those who have driven to Venice. It is easy to find and parking is included in the price of the hotel. The bus is only a block away, comes every 15 minutes and you find yourself in Venice--Piazza Roma in 10 minutes. We recommend a 25Euro 72 hour pass because both bus and vaporetto charges are include.

Muy buen servicio y trato del personal del Hotel y esta muy bien ubicado para viajar en transporte publico. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Very good and frequent access to Venice via bus, very close to the hotel. About 1 km from bus stop from Treviso airport (piazza 27 septembre). Very good breakfast and quiet and clean rooms. Very friendly staff.

Sehr angenehmes und gutes hotelklima.Zimmer sind klein aber sehr gepflegt und es ist ein sehr gutes hotelpersonal das sich sehr gut um den gast bemüht.Ist sehr zu empfehlen sehr ruhige lage mit sehr guter anbindung an den öffentlichen verkehr, ca 10 minuten nach venedig piazza roma.

Inclusive in the price i found a good buffet breakfast and park place for my car. This hotel is only 10 minutes far by bus from Venice centre.

The hotel is very old, I don't think anyone changed the furniture or redecorated since the 70's. The room had an old smell to it. I'd say it was the worst hotel we've stayed at through our entire trip to Italy. It's not a fleebag but close enough...

Lovely place to stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Not too far from Venice. The price could have been a tinsy bit cheaper as the hotel was coded as a 2 star and had seen a 3 star for the same price.

Overall: I would come again! I have booked this room 1 day before our arrive. It would be almost hopeless without on-line booking. Venere.com really works! ;) We had a great time in this hotel. There was a free reserved private parking place for our car (I asked for it in email). The receptionist allowed us to bring up the plants we got from our relatives during our trip. This way they didn't have to burn to death in the car. Very nice. The room was relative small, but everything has its own place, so we did not notice it at all. The air conditioner came handy at warm evenings. The bathroom is great, just like new. Nothing is clogged, crappy or rusty. No bugs or other extra "guests". There was a mosquito repellent device with fresh tabs every day. Mosquitos and other flying life forms did not disturb us at nights. The colour television has many channels (around 40), italian language only. No problem, though. We saw the weather forecast without any italian knowledge. There is a minibar (a little fridge) with soft drinks. Use it as a last chance before thirsting to death. It's not so cheap. Although, I had a 0.5 l mineral water for 1.80 EUR and wrote it to the list I found in the fridge, but at check-out they counted only 1.50 for it. Honesty pays out? :) There is an elevator, so you don't have to fight with your luggage on the stairway. The room was cleaned up and the bed was made when we came back from our one-day Venice trip. The breakfast included in the price is not the cheap one! I mean the quality. You can choose from several drinks, canned foods (jams and patties), yoghurts, musli, buns. All self service, you can eat as much as you want (or as much as your conscience allows). There is at least one person who is helping you at breakfast. I mean at serving, not at eating. :) The main door is open from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM, so there is a plenty of time to come and go. If you're yet to late, just ring the doorbell and they let you in.

Staff is very friendly and the hotel is very cosy.
