The hotel was fair enough. However, breakfast was really bad --- but this seems to become the standard for many 3 stars hotel. Location: close to Venice, but it's in Mestre, which is a VERY uninteresting and boring place.

Very friendly staff, decent English and they kindly humoured my attempts at Italian :) Convenient for Venice, only 10-15 mins on the bus, which came every 10 mins or so. Also near a train station. Nearby shops are good for basic groceries and pharmacy. We had a great time.
