This hotel was just ok. There is no Wifi in the room, 5 euros for 15 minutes, 10 euros for the whole stay (strange, no?). The guy at the entrance told us there was no freezer for our ice packs but in the morning, the day receptionist told us there was one, frustrating. Like everywhere in Italy, the stay is very expensive but the price on venere.com was very good in comparison to the official price. The overall stay was just ok, to stay 1 or 2 nights. Beware, the bus that takes you to venise is always very late, don't look at the bus time schedule, also, the Bus trip is 20-25 minutes long. For the way back, if you do it during the night, the bus indication given by the hotel were wrong.

Convenient location for traveling in his car. There is a parking lot where the car left, you can visit Venice by bus. Stopping a few steps away and the ticket costs about 1 euro per person. In our little cozy room furniture "antique" is combined with modern comfort. Breakfast is standard for Evropy.Na reception you can buy delicious Italian wine Lambrusco. Disadvantages: small room for breakfast and very thin walls in the rooms.

Too far a way from Venice. Eventhough there is bus closeby to Venice, but it take too long and some time during the day you have to wait for quite a long time for the bus. But the room itself is pretty nice

Generally it was ok. The worst things were lack of breakfast (even though the reservation said it was included), location of tv set (high under the ceiling), and very malfunctioning shower (basically it just washed everything around, but not you).

The hotel was clean and quiet. I advice you to get directions to get there, the first time it is a little hard. The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean too. However, the bathroom was very little, and we were 4 people in the room. In spite of this I would recommend this hotel.

El hotel está alejado del centro de la ciudad y de dificil acceso. Las habitaciones estan limpias pero poco confortables, el televisor estaba casi en el techo y el mando no funcionaba. El baño super pequeño que apenas se podia abrir la puerta.

Receptionist was a bit frosty - not very welcoming. but overall it was ok for money and i would return if on a budget, the best thing about the hotel was it was 50 mts from a bus straight into Venice.

Reasonable hotel near the bus line into Venice city. If you're lucky enough to get a top floor room, you'll have a rather large balcony (which was perfect for us). Staff is competent and friendly, and easily able to tell you exactly how to get where you need to go.

My husband and I stayed at the Ariston Hotel in Mestre this past October 2007 for one night. Since we had a fairly early flight from Venice airport the next day, we opted to depart Venice Island in the afternoon and stay the night on the mainland so that we would be closer to the airport. The hotel served its purpose and was clean. Our room's bathroom was a little tight and had a strange layout where you had to almost step over into the shower stall in order to get to the toilet. There was literally no space between the two, however, since we were only staying for a night, it wasn't a big deal. The front desk clerk was helpful. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up the following morning and gave us walking directions to a few restaurants. From the bus depot after we got off the water taxi from Venice Island, the taxi ride to the Ariston was about 25 minutes if I recall correctly and the price was about 30 euros. It was late afternoon rush hour, so the price wasn't too bad. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport but the taxi ride was 40 euros. The walk from the hotel to the restaurants was about 10 minutes, however, there was a small pizzeria next to the hotel that wasn't open yet when we set out to eat dinner. We did not eat the breakfast at the hotel but saw the staff preparing the tables for breakfast as we were leaving and it looked pretty good. All in all, the hotel was good for a night or two.

Good hotel for a good price. It is close to the motorway, ideal for people arriving by car, you can't miss it. Bus station within 100 metre, direct line to Venice. We really enjoyed staying in Hotel Ariston.
