If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in the Venice area, this is a good option. However, the employees were not very friendly or helpful. The hotel was IMPOSSIBLE to find. GPS couldn't find it with the address it listed, so we ended up driving in circles an hour before we finally found it. And it's surrounded by heavy industrial buildings - nothing is nearby and it's certainly not great for walking around. Once there, you can take a bus to get to Venice (bus stop is right across the street). But the hotel didn't tell us that you needed a special fare card to be able to ride the bus or how much it was or that you needed the exact change. Some of this information would have been helpful. Also helpful would have been some information on how to get back. We missed the last of the same express bus coming back (10pm) and ended up having to change buses and walk 1/2 mile back to the hotel. Having a card or something with bus line numbers and the address/phone number of the hotel would be a great thing to supply to guests to take with them on their journey to venice. the bus ride itself wasn't a bad trip - about 15 minutes. Our hotel room was nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was barren and boring. Definitely a decent option for people on a budget and with cars who want to go to venice, but next time i think i'd pay the extra $40 for parking and hotel closer to Venice.

The description about the distance between the hotel and the railway station in Venis Matre is totally wrong, which gave us a very unpleasant travel to the hotel. It was mentioned on the website that the hotel is about 1 km from the station ( this is the reason why we choose this hotel since it is within walking distance from the station), actually, we have been walking from the station 2 hours in the evening (the environment is terrible) at the end we even have to walk on the road for car driving 80 km/h, which makes us even much more scared and angry. We did not lost on the way but just the hotel is unbelievable far away as we expected. I cannot understand that why they gave this terrible information for the distance. After walking about 4 or 5 km, we found a sign on the road that the hotel is still 1 km away, People in the hotel should be honest to tell the distance that is a major judgement for travellers to tell if they want to stay in the hotel.

The picture of the hotel is fake. THe hotel is located in the middle of rusty-dusty industrial area without ANY residential houses around. It didn't look save at all and we didn't stay there, just lost our money. We are highly unsatisfied with all the experience with venere.com, it never happened to us with hotels.com
