The room was clean but the air conditioner and the TV did not work. It's not so near to Venice, so, at night the last bus is at 20.30!!The breakfast was very poor, just a machine for coffee and another one for juice, 1 croissant, toast in packages and jam...and that's all...I will not choose it again! The price is not cheap and you can find better hotels for less money and nearer to Venice...at the same Mestre

Bon rapport qualité prix à proximité de Venise, avec bus à 100 m. Mais le petit déjeûner est léger, et le parking à 9 euros par jour est cher. Mais on peut stationner dans la rue tranquille.

Good value for the money. Easy link to Venice by public transport. Breakfast room larger than expected from reading previous reviews, as it has been extended. Helpful staff.

We stayed only one night and the hotel served this purpose. The facilities in the room were basic, corresponding with the price. The website states the hotel is within a relatively short walking distance from Mestre train station, but our experience was different. It took over 10 minutes to reach it by bus. Staff were helpful. It costs 5 euro to store the luggage at reception, parking costs 9 euros per night. There's not much around the hotel. Hotel Ariston is nearby, but we didn't see restaurants, shops etc. in the immediate surroundings. The connection to Venice is quite good. There is a bus every 30 minutes and the bus stop is about 50 m from the hotel - the trip to Piazzale Roma takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Overall, for a short stay on tight budget the hotel is OK.

It was further from the train station than we thought- they said it was 1.5km but it was more like 6km. When we got there, the power was out, but the staff was very welcoming. The tv didn't work and the air conditioning didn't either so it was really hot. The breakfast was really good and the rooms were spacious. It was a really good price for what you got.

Our "non-smoking" room had an ashtray in it and wreaked of smoke. We had to open the window all the way just to tolerate it. The room was dingy and dirty. We only stayed there a few hours until our flight, so we dealt with it, otherwise, we would have sought out other accommodations. My husband said the hotel made him feel like he was in the Gulag. I don't think it was that nice.

Good Hotel. We like a lot. Very good staff. Good location. The only thing we do not like was the breakfast. It was not good and not bad, and the breakfast room was to small. We had to wait a place to have our breakfast.

We were surprised because of some advices which were written in this site : air condionned is very good and we can handly and easily low its noise. The windows are efficient against the outdoor noises, only if we close them! Breakfasts were very good. The young employee who welcame us was very kind and helpfull. The price was very low compared of prices practised in the surrounds. The buses start just in front of the hotel. So a very good, agreable journey, nothing to add.

Nice hotel for the price, the only complaint is about the public bus service to Venice from the hotel: it took 50 minutes to get there in the morning and coming back after 9 p.m. we had to take another bus line that stopped at the hospital and walk more than a mile along the road at night.

I would not recommend this hotel regardless of the location. The room was filthy - cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and bad odors. The bathroom was not clean and was missing lightbulbs. The carpets were stained and the drapes and bed linens were frayed and dingy. When we arrived we were told that they could only accept cash and we were told where the ATM machine was. I very unpleasant stay. We were in Italy 19 days and we prebooked all our hotels. This was the only disaster.

Our room looked old, the carpet with some old dirt spots. And - it was the worst breakfast among all ***-hotels we'd stayed in. The rest corresponds to what you see in the web.

I found the staff here very welcoming and very helpful, able to recommend local restaurants and inform me of the bus needed to get into and back from venice. The hotel itself was disappointing, very small room, nowhere to store my empty bag, no shower curtain, or even anywhere to hang the shower.Breakfast in the mornings was basic, and even tho they say served till 9:30 am, on one occassion i didnt make it to dining room till 9:15 to find hardly any selection at all!!the bed was most uncomfortable, like sleeping on a bag of sand.so really although the staff were good, the overall stay was not a good one, thankfully only had to endure the bed for 2 nights!!!

A GREAT STAY IN MESTRE. THE PRICE CAN'T BE BETTER AND THE HOTEL IS ON THE BUS LINE TO VENICE AND THE BUS ONLY TAKES 20 MINUTES. IT IS A PLEASURABLE RIDE. THE BREAKFAST WAS THE GREATEST. LOTS OF ALTERNATIVES AND GREAT SERVICE. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE CLUB HOTEL.

Rooms were clean, but the hotel needs refurbishment. Rooms not as spacious as shown in the photographs. Breakfast very poor, but I think this is the "rule" in Italy (comparing to other 3 stars hotels in Italy, it was acceptable).

What else do you want for that price? The bus stops in front of the hotel to go to Venice. The personnel is very attentive. The room is not to big but clean and functional. The breakfast was excellent and don't worry if you don't see cheese and meat, the lady will bring it to you personnaly. There is also a nice little patio where you can eat. Private & free parking in front of the hotel. Would recommend and return.

We enjoyed our stay here. Getting there was challenging. The hotel suggested a bus to take from the train station, but we never saw which one he was talking about. It might be easier to take the train all the way to Venice, and then take any bus that says Venezia Mestre from Venice, and it will stop right in front of the hotel! But, from the train station in Mestre, it was really confusing, and we ended up just taking a cab, which probably took us the long way to get there. The concierge when we got there was VERY friendly and nice. He went out of his way to help us, and even suggested a restaurant within walking distance when we arrived late, and had missed dinner...and the food was excellent! So, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is good, breakfast is good. The hotel was 30 minutes away from Historic Venice. However, the bus stop was just across the street. Last bus returning from Venice to the hotel was around 9 pm, not very convenient if you want to have dinner in Venice. If you don't care travelling for 30 minutes, I would recommend this hotel.

The worst breakfast I've had in Europe. The overall quality of services is poor. From 1 to 5 I could give 1. The hotel itself is ok. Unfortunately, as I've noticed in all Italy, the offered services are really bad. I will never stay in this hotel again.

Our VOLARE fly was self-delayed about 3 hours, so we arrived to the hotel at 3.30 am!!! Fortunately the night-employee opened to us, so we remained there only few hours. The remote TV control did not work very well (but it was not important - we slept!!); good breakfast. About 20 min. from Marco Polo Venice - Airport.

Hotel is average. But for the price you really can't ask for more. Parking is included (outdoor). I checked in the hotel @ 2:30am and the guy at the reception desk didn't speak a word in English. I would recommend this hotel to budget-minded people.
