Great suroundings to hotel. In quiet location. Half board food excellent and very welcoming. Leisure acilities were good. Merano is very pretty athough hotel is a bit of a walk to town but in a perfect location. Great location for vising mountain passes such as mendap pass.

Elegant hotel within walking distance from the center, very quiet, surrounded by gardens. All members of the crew friendly, helpfull and com- petent. Rooms friendly, sunny, reasonable size..Spacious balkony. Lovely garden with pool.Excellent food.We can only recommend this hotel and its price. The only criticism: The adress should be in german. Via del Campo doesn`t show on the street signs.

How to reach Hotel Juliane

By car
Meran can be reached from different directions. Coming from the north you have to take the Brenner-pass or the Jaufen-pass. Coming from the west take the Reschen-pass. From the south you have to take the highway A22 (Modena-Brenner, exit Bozen Sud).Take the freeway Bolzano-Merano and exit Merano Sud), follow the indications to Scena-Avelengo and after about 500 meters turn left at Castel Gatto, turn left again at via Dante, continuing straight for about 200 meters and turn left at via Winkel and then left again at via del Campi.

By train
There is a connection from Innsbruck to Bozen where you have to change, taking the train to Meran. From Germany you have to go from Munich to Bozen and take the train to Meran.

By airplane
Bozen is the nearest airport, 30 km away from Meran.
