Very clean, quiet and kind welcoming. They upgraded my room without asking and without charging. Breakfast good but not as rich as in other hotels in area. We really enjoyed our night.

from the room description it looked like we got a higher category room that what we payed for - therefore the price/quality was excellent. Not sure how it would have been otherwise. Regarding employees, while the receptionist was excellent the waiter at breakfast not so ... An open WiFi was available - not sure whether it belonged to the hotel though.

How to reach Hotel Europa Splendid

By car
From the highway, take the Merano nord exit, turn right and go straight, following the indications to Merano. At the second traffic light, take a right and proceed straight ahead, past the train station, until the roundabout. Drive into the roundabout and, halfway round, turn into Freiheitsstraße. Proceed for about 400 metres until Theaterplatz, where the hotel is located.

By train
Merano train station is only 500 metres from the hotel.

By airplane
From Bozen airport, take the airport shuttle bus to Merano central station.
