Hotel was appropriate as tri star hotel with self service breakfast, and room that is large enough for a couple. Stuff was friendly but we do not speak French.

The room at 129 Euro was a reasonable price but at 14 Euro per person the breakfast was very expensive for the variety and quality. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in all but the most expensive rooms is poor.

My 16yr old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. Terrific location. Close to walk to train & beach. The hotel is clean and the employees very friendly and helpful. I had a problem before arrival and they were more than glad to help me. The decor in hallway needs updating. I felt thrown back in time, but I wouldn't hold this against them. I am a very light sleeper, so it was hard to fall asleep hearing the vespas on the road below (even with earplugs), but after 10pm it seems the whole city is in bed. Very quiet until 6am when everyone is on their way to work. I LOVED Menton. I will go back to visit again, and I would also pick this hotel to stay at. I highly recommend his hotel if you are looking for a good value w/good quality. If you want a romantic type hotel, this is not the one.

First time in Menton and we were pleased with what we saw, it was much better than we thought! We were in a triple, comfortable room, unfortunately it was noisy because it was facing the street (even if we were on a high floor). The holiday all in all was very pleasant,the most annoying thing was that there were no beaches with organised sun-beds so we had to stay on the stones, and being that we are not 20 years old anymore it was hard!

The hotel is very good. Although the breakfast is very good it is also very expensive (13 Euro/person). All in all I recommend the hote to anyone.

Don't eat in the hotel restaurant they have awful food! Menton is a very nice holiday destination and hotel have spacious and clean romms.

The room at ground floor has a little garden and a very big bathroom I think It's for disabled people. The room was not insonorized very well and you can hear the outside rumors. Air conditioning can only be set on or off. The breakfast don't worth the money, outside is full of nice bar. If you want to park into the garage is better that you ask at booking time, otherwise you'll have to spend much time to find a parking.

I is a lovely hotel in the center of Menton. We only stayed there one night in the begining of our trip on 'cote d'azzure' but we liked it very much. The room was nice, and clean but a twin bed instead of double bed.

This was the second time we stayed at Hotel Mediterranee. It has a excellent location in the center of the town with the walking street only 100 away and the beaches 200 m.

The rooms were very small. Not much room for two people. Also, the hotel did not have enough parking spaces so we had to park on the street every night. Hotel was clean but not worth the 112 Euro per night.

A little expensive for what it was... but not that far from the beach. (If you are an American... the beach is rocky, not sandy, so be ready.) It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The directions are pretty good. If you drive, the garage is very hard to negotiate. Make sure you park out front (and there is little room on the tiny streets) go check in, and they will let you into the garage. Parking is extra. Breakfast was included and very good. It was a very nice place to stay.

Middle class, age 40 to 75 with moderate funds. My room was modest, clean, functional and resonably priced. Great value. That is what I was hoping for and that is what I found.

The information on the web-site was not accurate enough. It is stated: You can either take a buffet breakfast in our restaurant or ..... No price was stated why we interpreted this as we would like to read as a customer "breakfast is included in room price". This was not the case. We discussed it with the hotel which was nice to help us look on the internet to find where we had got this information from. We could not find it, and instead we were offered a discount on the breakfast. We do not think that the breakfast was worth 10 EUR due to missing fruit or poor variation in fruit. in general the buffet seemed boring and/or was not set up in a more delicate way(sorry I cannot be more precise). the room was very small for a cost price on 92 EUR- little space on 2 sites of the bed. The heating thing behind the bathroom door was very dusty on the "grill". hope the precise information is useful.

It was a very nice hotel. the roomwas excellent. As a single traveller I had a double bed which was nice and a nice balcony. The staff were always friendly and helpful. the slight downside was that there was some building work going on close by that often started fairly early in the morning. However, apart from that I would not hesitate to go back in the future.

We found your hotel to be the best value for money in our month long stay in France. It was clean, attractively decorated and ideally located. Two things that could be improved. firstly, the bed seemed to have a dip in the middle which caused us to roll together a bit so mattress may need replacing. Secondly, more specific intructions could be given for how to reach the hotel since we didn't have a detailed map of Menton and found it hard to find from the little map that was provided on the internet. Sometimes you can rate a hotel not by the basics but by how a problem is solved. We had a small problem on arrival our room was booked for 3 adults, but the room only had a light bed for the 3rd person thinking he a child. The concierge was most apoligetic as the hotel was full, but offered several gratuities in lieu of the inconvenience. I was impressed with his service and attention. The hotel was a lovely hotel with a resonable sized room and clean. the only problem was finding the hotel in the first place, the map is much too small and not specific enough. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel, better than we expected. very close to the beach, prominade shopping, railway station, etc: clean room with balcony with great view of mountains, buildings and beautiful palm trees. Had a minibar wich is important to us as we use it as a fridge to store cold water juices etc: in them. The only thing to be aware of is that breakfast in their restaurant or continantal breakfast in your room cost 10.euro each. When we were checking out they took it forgranted (assumed)that we had breakfast there and added 100.euro to our bill for the 5 night stay. That's not cheap $34.00 canadian per day for 2 of us for toast and coffee!!!!! When I noticed it and told them that we did not eat breakfast there they took it off our bill no problem. Just check your bill when you are leaving. They also add 1.6 euro per day in service charge that I was not aware of. I would stay there again.
