We'd spent 2 nights in this majestic seafront hotel, in a confortable room city view (offer price was very convenient), but we definitely recommend opposite side rooms as the hotel offers wonderful sea view! Lovely "liberty style" hotel, particularly recommended for "seniors" and/or couples appreciating romantic atmosphere of former times Breakfast - included in our offer price but generally not included (€ 11) is various and fairly good but organization in breakfast room should be improved!

Reception staff is patronizing, showing poor consideration to the guests. Mistakes can sometimes be understood, contempt never. Room service was excellent, the chamber maid arranged the bed size in less than 5 minutes.

Aircondition was not set to "summer" - too hot room made us open windows against a very busy street by night - lot of noise (containers) and traffic noise - less sleep. We were not allowed to use the grass outside - average people age was above 70 so not much was happening.Quite during daytime. Toilet paper and other consumables were not supplied without giving notice.

Location is excellent, on the sea front and also very close to Menton's pedestrian area. Our only complaint was that the buffet breakfast Euro 11, finishes at 9 30 and the 'continental breakfast' served afterwards also cost Euro 11 for a lot less.However it is very easy to get the same for a lot less close to the Hotel. Evening entertainment obiously targetting French people of a certain age.
