We have just returned from 10 days in the "albergue de mecina" and had a wonderful time. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, homely and full of character. The food is good with meals based around local produce. The surrounding countryside is breathtakingly beautiful and is great for walkers, photographers, artists. The hotel gardens are pretty in a slightly unkempt way, but full of birds, butterflies and flowers. (We were there in the spring so did not use the pool.) The village is tiny but there are a couple of bars/restaurants nearby used by locals and tourists. We had a wonderful stay and the staff really looked after us.
