Perfect place to go for a stroll in Mattinata streets, especially at night after a hot summer day, or to visit the Gargano peninsula. Last week-end in August streets around were crowded late at night and we could not sleep before 2 am (coffee-shop w/ terrace on ground floor). Apart from the street noise issue, rooms were large with A/C (extra charge) and a well-equipped b/room. Very welcoming and helpful staff, great choice for continental b/fast. Would come back anytime except in August.

The breakfast is sub-standard and definitely needs improvement. Very friendly and helpful concierge staff. Rooms are quite noisy due to proximity to the Bar and the street. A convenient place to stay for visiting the southern half of the Gargano, but too far from the northern half (the roads are very windy) for comfortable day-trips.

Room was noisy overnight as there was a wedding at the hotel that night. Difficulty parking that night and no hot water in am. Staff very helpful. Classic hill town short drive to beach.

Friendly and professional reception, clean spacious room with all required facilities, comfortable public rooms, lovely terrace for dinner, food quite good, surroundings not very interesting. The beach is about 10 minutes away by car and is all pebbles, some protective footware is advisable.

This is without doubt a lovely friendly and professional establishment. The staff were so nice and eager to plase. The only reservation we have concerns the breakfast and this hotel is certainly not alone in italy in falling short. However whilst the upstairs café did excellent tea and hot chocolate the brekfast versions delivered downstairs were very poor indeed. The chocolate was not at all the same and the water was never right for infusions. The bread was sub standard too as was the butter and jam. The juice was powdered and quite unpleasant. Yet there seemed to be more waiters than diners so why they could not get this right when everything else they do is fantastic was difficult to fathom. Nonetheless lovely people, a nice sitaution and very clean and comfortable.

The hotel was adequate, staff friendly but very little English spoken. There was no menu and the description of courses highly problematic. The food was adequate but could have been more imaginative.

This hotel was an adequate, though not luxurious, stop-off point on our tour of Italy. The hotel was somewhat difficult to locate by car, in the centre of town, due to traffic restrictions during the evening in Mattinata. We had to resort to seeking it on foot and then fetching the car later. Better directions to the hotel by car would have been very beneficial. Once found, the hotel met with expectations and provided perfectly suitably accomodation for the price; along with free parking. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast of rolls, croissants and coffee. It was taken in a public cafe area attached to the hotel; this enhanced the experience since it provided contact with the local community.
