Restaurant/DiningThe "Convivio" Restaurant's menù should appeal to food lovers of all types. The restaurant offers both typical regional dishes and some international cuisine as well. "Convivio" also has an ample terrace which can be enjoyed throughout Matera's warm season.
The elegant banquet hall, can accommodate up to 300 people. The hall's refined ambiance makes it the ideal setting for every type of event. The large adjacent terrace offers a perfect backdrop for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. -

I don't think this is a 4 stars hotel, it is in front of a dump with building works...rooms are small and old style ('80-'90). It is near to the centre if you're young and you want to walk...but I think if you're in Matera you want to walk! Breakfast is poor and cheap. It's not justified to be a 4 stars hotel, I think.
