A really lovely hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is a bit further out of the town centre than the website indicates but this is great if you have a car as parking in town is limited; about a 10 walk from the sassi. We would certainly stay here again.

By carComing from the SS7 road, from the North (Bari) or the South (Potenza): exit at Matera sud-Ospedale for Matera. Once reached the Madonna delle Grazie hospital (on the right hand side), turn left towards Viale Carlo Levi. Continue on this road for approx. 300 metres. Then take the second street on the right side, Via Morelli. You will find the hotel on your left hand side.
