The hotel was situated in the outer area of Matera near the highway. The distance to the Sassi of Matera is about 4-5 km. There have been good parking posibilities in front of the hotel for free. The rooms have been large, clean and well appointed - also the bathroom. The breakfast was tasty and lovingly prepared in classy breakfast rooms with an obliging waiter. There have been a freshly prepared fruit salad! - Fresh fruits at breakfast are unfortunately not standard in italian Hotels.
