How to reach Hotel Matala Bay

By airplane
From Heraklion Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport: taxis can be found outside the airport and it costs around €48,00 for the 60 km journey to the hotel. On the other hand, you can call the hotel to arrange a taxi in advance, and have the driver waiting for you when you arrive. In this case, the fare costs around €40,00. Alternatively, take a taxi or a city bus to Messara's bus station in Hanioporta, where buses run to Matala.
