Hotel cher pour des prestations moyennes Climatisation bruyante et inefficace. Petit déjeuner de piètre qualité : café machine Nescafé, jus de fuit chimique à la machine même pas frais. Bref décu car la chambre a quand même couté 80 euros !

I have to complain about the commercial policy of the hotel. We had to leave one night before the full three nights term because of a health problem. The hotel has charged the three nights, said it is imposed by Venere. In addition the manager said that if we had reserved directly, only two nights would have been charged. The Venere Customer Service has written me that the cancellation conditions are only fixed by the hotel ! So, is the hotel management very clear ?

2 Overnight stays. Room pleasant & comfortable. Dinner in restaurant excellent both nights, & parking locked at night for security. Staff friendly & helpful(But shame about petrol station so close, for some views!)

Quiet hotel in the middle of nowhere (that is, in the countryside) , with a somewhat distant view of the lake . Indispensable to come by car in order to be able to move around . Quiet and comfortable rooms . Breakfast barely average . Atmosphere a bit depressing as many elderly or slow-moving people around make it feel a bit like a sanatorium . Perfect spot if you want a quiet vacation ...

Lovely hotel; great staff, but don't stay on Monday night if you plan to get hungry. The hotel restaurant is not open and we were not told ahead of time. We were low on fuel for the car, and had an early flight out Tuesday morning from Malpensa, so no way to go out for dinner Monday. We were hungry.

The staff were great. No English was spoken but they were very patient with our poor Italian. Good facilities but a bit of a distance from the lake. Very difficult to find when coming from the north as the directions given are for those coming from the south. Good value for money.

I was there only one night for my work but I would have stayed longer if i could because it was very nice. The only problem is that I was there on tuesday and a lot of restaurant in the area, even the one with the hotel, is closed on tusday evening.

It is run by a very nice family.The room was lovely and the balcony too.We stayed for New Year's Eve and loved it.It is advisable to go there with a car so you can go round and see lovely places.

No air conditioning in rooms. Breakfast had warm milk and foul odor to egg-shell containers. Location was isolated from anything. Room was OK but not much else to recommmend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. The hotel restaurant was excellent, a great welcome to our first day in Italy. Would visit again!

Excellent place to stay, if you are not looking for an immediate proximity to the lake coast. Quite and nice place, excellent food in the restaurant, clean, spacious & quite room... The only "but" is that it was somewhat not trivial to find the location; it would be really helpful to have a detailed map (within Massino Visconti) published on the site. There also were some difficulties with communicating in English - but that was expected ;-) Bottom line - an excellent, highly recommended place!

road noisy and also a noisy parking for trucks it needs protection against heat, mosquitoes and noise : maybe climatisation of the room ? It would be solution against these inconvenients

You won't have a view on the lake, but on a gas station. It's not quiet at all,since it's located just outside the village: cars are speeding up there, all night.

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It offers very good value for money. The location is good (providing you have a car), the hotel service is excellent (very warm welcome/ helpful staff/ nice family atmosphere) & the rooms are very clean/ modern & spacious. Make sure you print directions to the hotel though as could be difficult to find.

Très bon hotel. En campagne à quelques kms du lac néanmoins... Sur cette période d'avril, nous étions quasiment seul dans l'hotel

At the paying desk in the restaurant there were brochures exposed for the political party Forza Italia , I am not used to this in hotels and restaurants.

The Lake area is beautiful, but we climbed a long way from the view to get to the hotel, and had a hard time finding it. It was being remodeled when we arrived, and that in adddition to the fact that it is attached to a gas station made my heart sink. The room and the interior of the hotel were very nice, though, and the people friendly. When they are done remodeling it will be great - though not a super location.
