This hotel is on the tip of the Amalfi coast, well away from the crowds. The views are fantastic and well worth paying the extra euros for. You can see Naples and Pompeii etc. The hotel is quite large but was very quiet and calm while we were there. The staff were great and the room was spacious and very relaxing. In the restaurant that night there were bus loads of french tourists dining and we had no idea they were even there.

An excellent hotel close to a delightful village (Sant'Agata). Breathtaking views across Sorrento and the Bay of Naples from the rear of the hotel. Delightful staff. Long journey from Naples airport, but worth the travelling. Easy bus journey to Sorrento - offering sea trips to Capri, Positano and Amalfi. Some very good local places to eat (as a change from the Grand Hotel's excellent facilities), especially Lo Stuzzichino in Sant'Agata. Some steep climbs, testing your legs and lungs, but that's the price of breathtaking panoramic views. If you want an unspoiled destination, life at a slow tempo and lots of sun -this is it.

The rooms where we were accomodated were outside of the main building and in the underground, they smelled the mildew and humidity. The localization is of dificil access, far from positano with complicated road, even with own car, impossible to accomodate who depends on public transport.

Very good Hotel.Considering that the place is near Positano(14 Km) and Sorrento (7 km), the relationship between price / quality is excellent. Wonderful view on Peninsula of Sorrento. Nice public areas with swimming pool. Very good and pleasant stay.

Fantastic staff, great location. Information upon arrival could have been better, food fantastic although breakfast is 'continental only'. Would've preferred room with sea/sorrento views (& paid supplement if applicable) but this was not offered nor made clear during the booking process. Overall stay - great!!!

like most of italian hotels, the phonic isolation is close to none...otherwise, nice hotel, well located, great view and for the special rate a good deal.

very pleasant stay - hotel staff very friendly and helpful - some of the description given on website is generous and not completely accurate eg there is no safe in each room nor a mini bar. However staff went out of their way to help - location quiet - views stupendous, food ok

Ottima soluzione alloggiativa per la Penisola Sorrentina ad un prezzo davvero conveniente. Per gli appassionati di alta cucina sottolineo che l'albergo è vicino a due santuari gastronomici: Don Alfonso Iaccarino (che è a due passi) e Gennaro Esposito a Vico Equense (pochi km). E' quindi un posto dove tornare e da consigliare vivamente.

Panorama semplicemente stupendo,e'sicuramente un posto unico. Nelle vicinanze le spiagge piu' pulite della costiera.

We had two rooms to choose from when we checked in. The first was a balcony/with no a/c; and the 2nd was a/c with no balcony. We took the a/c which dripped all night and we had to put a BUCKET to catch the water. The meals were just ok. The drinks were not included in the price of the meals not evening coffee in the morning. There was no tennis court. That was converted into a futbol field. There were mosquitos and other bugs around the pool and the futbol field; they should have sprayed the area. The staff was very nice and tried hard to please but did not have any alternatives for the problems. I feel that the price should have been cheaper regarding the facility based on the other places we visited in Italy.
