We stayed 3 nights and the hotel staff were extremely helpful even if they seemed somewhat inexperienced.The hotel is listed as 5 star. The building maybe has the potential to achieve this, but it is definitely not operating as a 5 star from point of view of procedures and practices. The breakfast buffet had a poor selection (mainly dessert tarts and pies). The sea view is a bit aspirational.

Very pleasant room in a modern building designed to blend in with a very attractive much older house. The shutters are difficult to keep open to let the light in. The staff were very welcoming and exceptionally helpful with suggestions for meals in Marsala and leisure activities. The pool is magnificent and when the weather permits adds a real plus to the premises. The public areas are decked with silver ware, paintings and objets d'art of all kinds. There is a railway line nearby but this is not at all disturbing as there are very few trains passing. This hotel has much to offer but was almost empty when we were there - end October.

This hotel was beautifull... but .. breakfast was total cold - muesli and 1 type of bread. there was not cheese of ham. i dont like to eat in the morning sweet pie but there you can have 6 types - from supermarket. coffee - you must ask. and after you will get 2 smal cups. there are too greedy.. and we coud not sleep because there were moskitos in room. and neybours - you hear everything. when they go to toilet or when they have sex.... Internet 8 euro per hour - speed was too slouwly - we cound not use internet but we have to pay

I traved with my wife. I have to pay for a missundertanding about "wellcome cocktail". There was a tray with small bottle of winw I had to pay. They said the "wellcome cocktail" was offered in the Bar. No good attención. Also bad signal about the beach, far, small and expensive. The price of VENERE was the same that the Hotel offers in the DESK.

It was our (my wife and I) first time in this hotel. If we'll have another trip in Marsala with no doubt New Palace Hotel will be our first choice.
