Hotel Pyr Marbella - Marbella

Location is right next to busy highway so noise was an issue. However access to the beach (5 minutes walk)and restaurants, bars and shops was very good. Good pool and pool area. We were there primarily for playing golf in the area and it was well placed for this and the teetime booking service provided was excellent. A mix of staff competence - some very very good but others clearly untrained, very little English and lacking in customer service. Wireless internet access as well as internet cafe style access was a nice bonus.

Lovely hotel, the poolside area is great apart from it being far too close to the motorway behind it! Beach is only 5 mins away. Location is right in the heart of the resort - ideal. However would stay there again as rooms are huge and great having kitchenette.

Good location but not close to the beach. Finding the hotel is a little bit difficult. Rooms are very spacious, most with small kitchens. Nice furnishings. Pool hours restricted. I would recommend highly to my friends.

A perfect location, the marina is crawling (home!)distance and great shopping is right next door - what more could you ask for! An essential part of the girls weekend away to PB!

Noise level was too high due to a bunch of damned brits...

Had a great time. Lovely resort. Accommodation exactly what we required with excellent local facilities. Could walk, bus or taxi everywhere for very reasonable cost.

This hotel is very well situated within easy walking distance of Puerto Banus, beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping. Staff at the hotel were courteous. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Garage parking was convenient. Pool, bar, and facilities were well maintained. Good value.

I believe this hotel, to be in an ideal location to enjoy every aspect of Puerto Banus. It has adequate facilities, although I do belief the bar area has room for improvement.I also felt that charges for sun loungers and for parking are excessive, when you are paying already a room rate. The rooms are excellent, spacious and well equipped. I do however feel that the majority of the staff were rude and unhelpful. Having said all this we did have an enjoyable break.

PYR is more a place for families that intend to stay long and for an econimically value. Staff fail to impress with friendliness, as they usher you through reception like you have just fallen of a big tourist bus. As there are no other rooms but fully equipped appartments, one does not have a "hotel" feeling as such. However, the rooms are very comfortable and flexible. The proximity to all key areas is a plus.
