Staff was a bit aloof, perhaps because of the language difference but even there, with our limited Italian, there was little interaction with the exception of the driver who picked us up at the train station, very outgoing. He also reminded us to write a good review for the hotel. The location is good, only a short walk to the best restaurant in the area. Go out the front of the hotel, turn right and 50 meters later you're there. The people were wonderful, the food even better and the price very reasonable. They spoke little English but we all had fun working with each other on our respective languages. This alone was worth the trip. We attempted a hike to the Redentore but the fog was so thick we only had about 10' of visibility so that didn't work out so well. Gaeta is a relaxing side trip and three days was enough time there. It's a good walking area.
