Hotel Mantegna - Mantua

Air conditionig was totally unavailable in very hot days, but employees tried to convince us that it was working very well

The hotel is very plain, not attractive. The room was spacious but has no air conditioning and when one opens the windows insects come in. The breakfast was very good. There was internet available for a fee but unfortunately it was down on one of the days that we were there and the hotel manager gave us a hard time about wanting to charge us for it anyway. The location is good. The parking is free, which is a very good feature. The lady that recieved us was very helpful.

Comodo e centrale. Accoglienza e servizio informazioni ottimo. Un po' caro per un tre stelle. La prima colazione migliorabile: scarsa varietà anche se discreta la qualità.

Okay, central location with private parking. Needs updating - bit uninspiring for the price.

This is a quite basic hotel in a not very attractive location but walking distance from the centre. The room was a bit shabby and the aircon did not cope with the heat and was also switched off centrally at 1am - so if it's a hot night you have to open the window and put up with the traffic noise. The staff (owners?) were very welcoming and helpful however.

The prize for the room is toooo much. Everything is more or less from the `not-cool` 60ies and the noize from the streets is awful. But you are very close to the city center which is realy fine for sight seeing and to reach some nice restaurants.

The hotel is excellent in its category. Particularly the service at the front desk was extremely cordial and competent. The location relative to the sites one likes to visit in Mantova is optimal.

Very expensive, very poor breakfast,very disinterested at reception.

Questo albergo è conveniente visitare la città anche il parcheggio molto utile nella città limitato come questo; ma l'albergo è un po' difficile di trovare in macchina, per la prima volta. Il personale era molto gentile, ma la camera molto piccolo e svortunatamente aveva un odore di sigarette!!Forse un buon idea tenere certe camere per non furmatori!

A simple but very friendly hotel, if perhaps at the bottom end of three stars. Well located and overall a happy stay. Two small gripes: maintenance of the shower could be better; the quality of the bread at breakfast was below standard.
