Hotel La Favorita - Mantua

Loveley hotel, ideal for business use. Restaurant food quality was average The scampi in my pasta was gritty and the orange chocolate mousse had no orange and was not set and quite warm - chocolate flavour was good.

The hotel is located in the commercial zone out of mantoua (this is the only negative point ). But the hotel is fantastic : pure design ! the rooms are great (even better than on the photos) and VERY comfortable. The beds are good and, though you are near the motorway, you don't hear anything : the rooms are perfectly insonorised... And the breakfast is fine too : you have a lot of choice ! We payed about 90 € a night (with breakfast) and this is the best place we stayed since a long time ! The stuff is kind and helpfull ! A very good hotel, entirely new, that i recommand.

A major flaw of the hotel is the toilets in the room. They face the room and have no privacy! Bit of design flaw, I can see how it can not be ideal for 2 friends traveling together. That was the only thing that REALLY let it down. Otherwise it is an easy DRIVE into the towne centre and it is walking distance to some shops and groceries. Breakfast was also quite good. I mentioned the toilet situation to the front desk and she said other customers had complained as well.

This is the first time we went to Mantova. Hotel La Favorita was in every respect perfect and made our stade one of our best memories ever. I highly recommend this hotel and we will sure come back soon.

Easy to find, fantastic food both on the evening and at breakfast. It is located a distance from the city though in a type of commerce/ out of town shopping area, but don't let that put you off.

This is a brand new hotel situated in a not very promising part of the outskirts of Mantova. Yet surprisingly it has been finished to the highest standards. The design of the room exceeded expectations, as did the welcome offered by staff. Breakfast is also excellent. If you have a car this is the perfect base from which to see this beautiful town.

Very good hotel situated in a shopping center not far from Mantua (you need however a car to go to the city center). The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious and confortable. Very good quality for price!

My wife and I travelled here en route from northern Europe to where we lived in Rome. Do not be put off by the location of this hotel (at the edge of a commercial park surrounded by car parks for the local auditorium, 2 km outside the historic centre of Mantua). The approach by car from the hotel to the historic centre, across a narrow causeway between 2 lakes, when the mist is rising in the early morning is unforgettable. The quality of the hotel and service are uniformly excellent: breakfast is great and, although we didn't try it, the restaurant and bar service looked good too.
