First time in Mantua, charming town with a character, a lot to see, excellent food. Hotel Casa Poli is fantastic!

This is a modernised comfortable hotel. It is a 15 minute walk to the old centre of town which some might find too far. However, you get away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Ask for a quiet room, it must be noisy facing Via Garibaldi.

This is a fully 'designed' boutique hotel, thus whilst esthetically very pleasing (if you like that sort of thing) function appears to be a secondary consideration where the bathroom is concerned. Some shelving would be good. A bigger shower (with so much space why not use it) and proper soap (but then you would need somewhere to put it). This aside, the room was very comfortable and the staff charming and helpful.

It was the first time I stayed at the hotel. modern styled rooms, clean and comfortable. breakfast really ok, garage-place safe and expensive (20 €). 10 minutes walk to the historical centre.

The indication of the signs were good to follow. The last sign to the left however it was not indicated what distance it was to the hotel. So we drived two times around the town. In the Michelin guide the place of the hotel is indicated by a "b".However there are two "b"s. You have an excellent hotel, very nicefull personal. Two further remarks: it is 15 minuts walk from the centre. The beds were beautiful to see but very hard.

I stayed at Casa Poli once before, and again this hotel made the visit to Mantua incredible. Also, my husband got ill during our stay and they helped me navigate the Pharmacy to obtain the correct medicine. Beyond friedly and professional. It is the only place I will stay in Mantua.

When we asked for a glass of wine before dinner, the owner prepared and excellent dish of cheeses and cold cuts from the area with expertise, kindness, and most of all in a friendly and cosy atmosphere! Hats off! We liked the overall minimalist style of the hotel - room was very spacious, clean, with an excellent bed and a wonderfull "piumone"! Breakfast was most delicious with plenty of choice, and as many as one want true espresso coffees.

An exceptionally nice hotel, original design and nice to have rooms with originality. Coffee at breakfast was stone cold!

Very competent staff. Clean modern rooms though not always practical bathroom bassin small, shower jet not user friendly, lack of carpeting along beds for added comfort and salubrity.

Mantova is a treasure, the Casa Poli a cool contrast to the beautiful, colourful Renaissance town. Large, comfortable rooms, designery but not annoying, excellent bathrooms, genuinly friendly service; get a room to the back of the building though. Owned by a Mantova family. I highly recommend it.
