Good value room. Staff were good. Limited choice of dinner menu. Expensive breakfast - same price for full buffet style cooked as for a cup of tea and a bowl of cereal?

The room was clean and spacious, particularly the bathroom. Hotel was very busy with bus tours and a prom. Buffet was NOT worth the price (14.50). Convenient location as we were flying out of Manchester early in the morning.

the hotel was tired looking with worn carpets and in need of a facelift. the room we stayed in was very small with just enough room to squeeze between the bed and the dressing table furniture was dated and a lot of it for a small room there was coffee stains and marks on the walls the shower room was ok but there was mould in the shower cubicle and the door mechanism was broken and the shower head was not very powerful. towels were very small. and in the room there was only one small window that would open. On the plus side it was well situated in lovely grounds and the public areas were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. it is on a main bus route and is a short walk in to the village.

Excellent location close to the airport and Manchester city. Beautiful parkland surrounds hard to believe its situated in a major City. If staying here be sure to visit the Trafford Center.

Absolutely SHOCKING !!!!!!!!!!!!! We were disgusted in the carpark (more like a swamp) It had been raining but really no excuse for the area they call a carpark. Totally flooded and more like a mudpark !!!! We arrived only to be greeted by a huge check in line, customers were backed up to the entrance. Only one member of staff serving. Other staff were just chatting. Very unwelcoming staff and most rude. I would only advise you stay clear of this hotel. The noise was terrible. Lots of drunk people just out for a good time. The room itself was very dated. The whirlpool bath looked like something from the the 1960's and did not work.

Did get room changed to 2nd room - as first room I was unable to walk around the bed - or even put my bags in the room it was so small and claustrophobic.

We stayed at this accomodation last year and consider it to be excellent value for money. Just £16 for a taxi into the Manchester night life. Breakfast was expensive. £11.25 and not worth the money at all. One of the gentlemen receptionist wawn't exactly rude but he did not know how to smile.

We had a quad room so space was limited but not uncomfortably so, a big plus to accommodate a family with young adults. Nice grounds. 20 min+ walk from Didsbury for pubs or restaurants. Handy for the airport. Swimming pool is extra. Bar is OK, pricey. We were unlucky in that a loud, foul-mouthed group of men in the bar made it very unpleasant to enjoy being there, we left, staff seemed oblivious, possibly weren't aware but they should have been. Not that much seating in the bar area when hotel is busy.

Small rooms, busy (seems to be a wedding venue), value for the deal not the full price in my opinion. Staff very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't NOT stay there again, as the location was what I needed, but may look around first.

TV did not work at first but was quickly remedied. Wall breadth did not stifle the noise of rowdy wedding-attenders enough but apart from that it was pleasant. Most of all, great value at £48 for a Saturday night, easy commute to Manc city centre 41 or 43 bus. Very good and will stay again soon.

OK for overnight stay near to airport. Facilities in room poor (poor tele, tea making etc). public phones didn't work. Be careful you get off bus at right hotel, there are two with same name one mile apart. Transfer to airport was OK. Single room was questionable value for £49.

country house was nice, but the fire alarm went off early in the morning, and woke up everyone, apparently steam from showers can set it off. The bathrooms were dated, but otherwise a pleasant stay. Breakfast was expensive.

we were given an executive room which was a pleasant surprise. All staff were friendly although they failed to give us our early morning call luckily we had set the alarm for our flight! Choice of wine in the bar was very poor only had house wine which was not of the best quality. Overall good for one night stay.

The hotel reception area was quite pleasant and spacious, however my room was fairly small and although clean, it was in need of a facelift. The bed linen was poor quality - cigarette burns in the blankets and the mattress quite soft. The TV remote control didn't match the TV so to turn up the volume for example you had to press the 0 button and so on. The bathroom was very small although functional. There were some funny smells in the corridors outside the room, thankfully not reaching inside the room. The hotel was full of families so no room for a seat in the bar area. I stayed only one night and left too early to try the breakfast.

The hotel, despite how it may look on the map, is actually within easy reahc of the city centre (10 mins in a cab) and the bars, etc, of Didsbury. Our main issue is that we booked a tripple room for 3 adults and had a double bed and a bunk-bed! The room decour was out-dated but the bathroom facilities were excellent. Overall it did a functional job for a night's stay

Totally outstanding Hotel, just one problem from the lobby you could see the bar and the smoke was like a heavy fog(at 3pm in the afternoon)it was not an inviting sight, so we did not use the hotel bar, which would have been nice as we were looking for a relaxing night before our flight home the next day.

I was there on business. The breakfasts were excellent. Very good coffee. The Room Service food was very poor. Good leisure facilities, though. Althogh the steam room needs updating. On the whole it was a good stay. The hotel is not at all bland as so many others are
