Britannia Sachas Hotel City Centre - Manchester
Tib Street Denton - Manchester
877-662-6988The hotel is adjacent to Piccadilly Gardens, the Arndale Centre, department stores, designer shops and city centre offices, proving an ideal location for both business and pleasure.
The city centre's major attractions are only moments away whilst Piccadilly Station is close by and provides local and national rail links. The M.E.N Arena and G-Mex Exhibition Centre are just 10 minutes walk or you can catch the metro tram system only 100 metres away from the hotel.

Unfortunately we only found out after we had already checked in that, according to our friends from Manchester, Sachas is one of the worst hotels in Manchester. It is in sore need of updating and whatever you do, do not go to the restaurant for any meals. Also, there was a man walking around the hallways naked who had to be escorted out by security while we stayed there. I did not feel too safe and it smelled funny.

Average hotel, badly needs a revamp, lick of paint, makeover, call it what you will. The rooms were clean in fairness & the location is FANTASTIC, smack in the centre of Manchester, which is what we wanted. Would recommend for a group stay, but not for a couple getaway.

Which insane can project a room with no window?? the room was a hoven 27degrees... the room was cleaned after 16:00 despite I put my:" please service this room" at 9:00. Good thing is the location pheraps the best you can desire. the only thing it was not easy recognize that building was the hotel :/

Bad hotel! got a room without windows, there was difficult to breath in the room. Good location, but never take your girlfriend for a romantic weekend at this hotel!! You will probably be single at the return.

Fantastic hotel, great location, deserve to be called 4 star instead of 3 star, just 4 minutes walk to manchester picadilly station, i will surely go back there again, but in a room with bigger bed, my only complain was the big noise coming from lift as the lift maintainance went on all night.

I ordered twin room , I received double room . The room's picture was very nice in hotel web page. My room was horrible! My room didn't have a window , and air-conditional. The both of the elevators didn't operate. I never come back in this hotel in the future. Only a room's price was the same than they wrote his web page. This hotel was great joke for me.

The size of the windows in my single room reminded me of a prison cell. The rest was perfectly ok.

The Hotel is in major need of an update, dont get a room on the third floor the lift had no button to get you there. Overall the room was clean the hotel very central a 15 min walk from the station, but the hotel in general was shabby, would stay again but mainly because of the location

Apart from one of our party being injured due to a chair corlapsing in the room, i found the hotel good value for money, apart from the restaurent, on the saturday night we waited well over an hour to get food, we were near put off eating when a man at the next table got a burger with a bite out of it, apart from that i found the hotel value for money

Brilliant hotel, location fantastic, very clean, great leisure facilities, food great. I was not expecting too much due to previous reviews, but when we visited it was spot on, great value for money.

Hotel staff were very polite and dealt with us very professionally. The room was very nice. The hotel itself ruined our trip. There were builders outside our room at 7:45 am shouting and swearing. We then moved rooms to a room where the lights did not work. The ironing facility was unacceptable. The iron fell apart and scolded my hands. We stayed three nights and had to change rooms twice and still had problems with the room. The hotel cleaning staff were very noisy and if we didnt get woken by builders we got woken by them. Overall a poor representation of the hotel. Would not choose to stay there again.

Bath was broken and bathroom filthy with mould around edges. Women's lingerie left in drawer. TV remote didn't work. Lift didn't work on 3rd floor. Staff were willing but ill trained. Standard of food average to poor. Restaurant hours did not match times advertised. We were refused carvery meal due to prior booking we were unaware of (there was space available but hardly any staff). Give it a miss!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed in internal roon 381 was told that the room would be ait conditioned. It was not. Very warm and therefore difficult to sleep. Had to keep the door open in order to stay in room. This did take the edge of an excellent value for money hotel. Would I return? only on the condition of an effectively air conditioned room

Big and quiet rooms (at least on the fifth floor) to a reasonable prize. There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling, but the staff got me a new room right away.

There was no room service and no chef on duty during the hours scheduled in their information. The UK was in the midst of a heat wave, but the air conditioning did not work. The front desk had my room confused with another guests' room so I kept receiving phone calls and knocks on the door by people misdirected by the hotel staff. As for location, the window facing the alley way with barbed wire strung underneath probably says it all.

MY FRIEND AND I WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH SACHAS. THE ATTENTION AND SERVICE WE RECEIVED WERE FIRST-CLASS. SACHAS IS LOCATED JUST ALONGSIDE DEBENHAM AND COULDN'T BE BETTER SITUATED. BREAKFAST AND DINNER WERE EXCELLENT AND THE ROOMS DELIGHTFUL.

I do not believe this is a four star hotel. I ordered a triple room, but actually it was small and more like a double bedroom with a sofa bed. The latter was terribly sagging even when nobody was on it. This should be called 'a hammock'. I ordered a non-smoking room, and the receptionist reassured us it was a non-smoking one. Despite that you could still smell the smoke that remained by a previous tenant. No wonder there was an ashtray there. I ordered a baby cot on making a reservation. Upon arrival it was not installed yet. So I asked the receptionist. By the time it was installed at 22:00, I had already asked three times. We went back to home with regret and anger.
