Hotel Ariston - Malcesine

Generally I liked the hotel, escpecially service and breakfast in a nice garden. ) As for quietness - as usuall - one can hear everything in neighbouring rooms. ( The hotel is very close to the center, the cable car station indeed. I think that it's not exellent value for money for single travellers - too expensive for a base little room. I would recommend it for young people, especially who like adventure holiday.

Lovely hotel, not too far from the oldtow,A bit much traffic noise when windows are open, but closing them solves the problem. Generally speaking I can recommend it to anyone. Thanks for everything! I am sure we are coming back!

Enjoyed our stay of 5 nights in October 2007. Good base for town, sails, cable car. Could hear someone snoring over the corridor- but I NEVER travel without ear-plugs, so it didn't disturb us. Garden is very nice, even in October. Whirlpool was great after a day's walking on Monte Balde. Good trattoria just at the foot of the road. No view but good food and wine.

Second time in Malcesine, first time at Hotel Ariston. Excellent location near cable car, and walking distance from the town center, restaurants etc. Very nice hotel with good breakfast buffet, but traffic noise from the nearby street was a bit of disturbing.

Well presented and very clean hotel having nice rooms and public areas with beautiful gardens and great location with fantastic views plus easy walking to popular areas of this lovely town of Malcesine....would return every year - highly recommended! :)

This small hotel is very well located, being very close to the old town and the cable car station. Unfortunately it is rather noisy at night due to traffic but a quieter hotel could be a much longer walk from town; I guess you can't have your cake and eat it. Car parking is limited but luckily we could find a space every day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view of the castle and lake from our room was wonderful. Overall a very pleasant location.

Small, friendly hotel in a great location. A short walk from the town centre and cable car meant it was peaceful but had it's share of local traffic and pedestrians going past. Our room had a balcony on which we could both sit out and see the lake to our right and the mountains to our left. Fresh and tasty breakfast but a little limited on options. All staff were very helpful and spoke English. We would recommend it.

We had a great time in Malcesine, and the Hotel Ariston was a lovely place to stay. It was in a great location close to cable car and town centre. The gardens were beautiful, and eating breakfast on the terrace overlooking them each morning was a perfect start to the day. We had a lovely view of the castle from our room, which was spacious and well furnished. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. The very reasonably priced airport transfer made getting there very simple. I would definately stay in this hotel again when I return to Malcesine.
