Very helpful, arrived at 10.15am after an early flight, asked if we could leave some bags in, and were offered the chance to check in there and then. Lovely room, very impressed with the rooftop terrace and pool (cold but refreshing). We'll be back.

Great location, steps from the old town. Rooms were very small(too small for longer than a short stay) but bathrooms were big and both very clean. Rooftop pool/bar area was fabulous and a great amenity to have. Staff at reception were very helpful and gave good recommendations to us. I will stay again and I have already recommended it to a friend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was much larger than expected with a huge bathroom. The location is pretty good, as it's a short walk into the old town and is 15 mins to the train station. This was a lot better than we'd expected given the cheap price we got and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The only negative point is that the roommate did not provide us with new glasses for the second day of our stay and the bathroom was not enterely clean.

The music at the pool level is very inadequate unless the cliantele visé is in the 20's. Easy listening music would have been appreciated instead of the "I don't know what kind it was"

A humble bedroom with a luxurious bathroom, really post-modern combination. Twin room of beds lying side by side makes my female friend very nervous.

Fantastic hotel rooms are spacious and bathroom is so big you can play tennis in it. Did not try the food as did not eat in the hotel. Hotel is in a very central location close to everything you need and within a short walking distance to all attractions.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before we joined a cruise. It was ideal for our stay and I would definitely recommend. Close to restaurants and rooms were very clean with large bathrooms. Our twin room was traditional decor, not one of the modern ones shown. However, it was very good standard and had a large plasma and free soft driks in mini bar. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked like a nice area. I was very impressed with Malaga and would stay here again for a weekend break.

Great location, easy walking distance to Malaga centre. I would certainly stay again and recomend this hotel to friends. The only negative comment I have is regarding the restaurant in the evenings. The restaurant only offers a fixed menu with little choice and the menu only changed twice in the week I stayed. However I stayed in October, and maybe the restaurant operates differntly in peak season.

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfirend for 2 nights in October. The hotel was ideally situated for the town centre but far enough away to be quiet. My only critism is that there was too much furniture in the room, which took up too much room.

The reception staff at Hotel Salles Malaga Centro were superb, even recommending a great tapas bar for us to try in town. Location is excellent - quiet yet only a short walk into the old town with it's great architecture and night life. Our only gripe was that the hotel bar closed at midnight but even at 11.30 the receptionist had to call the barman from his sleep to come and serve us. I'd put his grumpiness down to that but he was the same serving some fellow guests at breakfast the next day!

Our 4th visit to this hotel and still excellent. For UK visitors it proves that one still gets better value staying in a 4 star hotel in Europe than staying in a B & B in the Lake District!

Nice looking hotel inside reception and other public areas beds very comfortable and bathroom spacious but room bit on small side but fridge in room with complimentary drinks very welcome breakfast too expensive for a continental so only had it once Tried dinner for 25 euros and was excellent for 3 course meal Bar in hotel waste of time too small as it was in reception and never anyone to serve you Went out to eat other nights we were there found good food but resented being given a bread roll at start but found out afterwards that we were going to be charged 2 euros each for it felt this was slightly sharp practice

Lovely, spacious, modern and elegant hotel room at a surprisingly moderate price in the centre of Malaga.I reserved a superior room, which means that I have no knowledge of the standard rooms of the hotel. The hotel had an elegant lobby, free parking and a very nice pool area on the roof.Very friendly and helpful staff. I will certainly stay here again on my next trip to Malaga.

I spoke with the hotel twice, confirming that the price of 90 euro (in a hole-in-the-wall Malaga!) includes parking. Not only it took us 3 hours to find the hotel, since the employee whom I spoke with never sent us directions, upon arrival we were informed that the hotel has no available parking and we should park at the nearby garage. That cost us additional 20 euro for the night and the hotel refused to pick up the cost. The hotel is impossible to find and you'll spend your time crusing around the one-way streets of Malaga. Plus, the cost of the parking just makes it too expensive. If you are driving, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!

Malaga Centro is a solid if not particularly charismatic respite after a day or night of energetic fun. Room was small but clean and quiet. I enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, very sunny, good for a book and a smoke. Neighborhood's not especially interesting but hotel is v. near El Corte Ingles (department store) and is right next to bridge to the fun part of town. Also convenient was secure car park right behind hotel.

It was the first time in Malaga Centro. We discovered an nice hotel with all accommodations but certainly, the reception made by people there is one of the best quality of this place. First, they speak French...which is quite rare, second, you can ask them everything you want, they will do their best to help and to serve you......with always a smile ! We will certainly go back to this hotel due to the quality of the people. The rest is OK too, except the swimming pool on the top of the building where there is no sun protection (parasol,etc..)

We stayed at this Hotel for a couple of nights in January 2006. The hotel was very easy to find, and being just a few minutes walk from Malaga old Town, was ideally placed. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the Central Railway station. Our double room was clean and spacious, as was the enormous bathroom. The self-service breakfast was excellent, with a hugh selection of food to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malaga.

Good hotel overall - only there for one night, but not too badly positioned and within easy walking distance of central Malaga. I did not use the restaurant so can't comment on that. Seemed to be used mainly by business people. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Very clean - lift a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry...

The hotel is near by the city. You can walk within 5-10 minutes, to the old part of the city and the harbour. From our window we had a view over mountains. Other hotels in the city may have view to backyards. (There's a lot of them in Malaga) The hotel was offering a great service: Free minibar (non-alcoholic) filled up every day – and a big must: free parking of our rented car, in a closed and locked parking-area. The breakfast was not included in our reservation - but for 10Euro per person – we got all what we wanted. And a little sign at the table, gave us free to order hot meals, too.

I have to say that this is an excellent hotel. The only problem is that airconditioning/heating is not optional. Its either heat in winter and aircon in summer. The rooms were unconfortable hot, we had to move rooms. We could not keep open the windows because of the terrible street noise. When you have a aircon units in each room which represents both hot and cold - you should have the option of using them both. Apart from that we are going back in Jan 2005 but I will ask for a lower floor as they appear to be cooler. The food and the staff are excellent. Free mini bar (soft drinks only) now thats a nice touch
