Hotel Tribuna Malagueña - Málaga

The hotel was allright, except that it is right at the intersection of many streets and boulevards and not sounproof at all. We didn't sleep all night. Would not go back except if we could get a garanteed bedroom on the back side of the hotel.

We staid one night only. The hotel is newly renovated. Very confortable matraces. Excelent location, next to the city center, easy to find. Possible to be a litle bit noisy if the windows are open as it is situated on the main road.

Our room was obviously a small single room (only one glass available), but with a nice bed for two and a spacios shower. Because of the semana santa the restaurant was open only for breakfast. We can recommend Kris Tribuna :)

The gentleman that works evenings is not very helpful or friendly. He needs to learn what customer service does for buiness.

Rooms are a bit poky for the price...

Reasonably good location very close to old city, just 5 minutes from cathedral, main shopping streets and lots of restaurants. Room was quite acceptable for the price. However, parking garage (specified as "own garage") was in fact in a public parking garage the other side of the river and very difficult to find.

Clean Hotel near the city centre

Stayed at Kris Tribuna because of location, price and previous positive reviews. Overall, hotel would have been quite good if it weren't for 2 ENORMOUS problems: 1. There was a putrid smell coming out of the Air Conditioner unit in the first room they gave us. It was so bad that we had to change rooms the next day, and the smell (whatever it was) remained for days afterwards on our luggage. 2. The Air Conditioner was terrible. It barely produced any cold air, and we had to leave the window open overnight to cool the room down at the expense of being exposed to the noisy street below. So, understanably this ruined our stay.

Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to come to Malaga. It isn't a nice place to be. However, this hotel was clean and comfortable. It was a walking distance to the center of town (quite a walk to the beach). The part of town the hotel is in, smells quite a bit because it's next to the river. I don't want to leave negative feedback about the hotel -it was nice- just wasn't thrilled about Malaga. Not a nice place.
