Hotel Trebol - Málaga

Not much facilities, but a good location, clean and new room. A distance to the beach, but we went there when the water was too cold anyways and the spanish tourists were plentiful. About Malaga "out of season": Have dinner between 1pm and 5. The menu offers in town are good, dont go if there is no people. Try "La parilla" or "Recoletta" if you like dinner later. Veggies: dont try them. Dont go to the restaurant you went to in july; your going to get dissapointed. A nice city stay. Well worth 5 days.

With essential but very clean rooms, the hotel is situated right in the city centre, only a couple minutes away from Alameda Principal, where you can take a bus for nearly every destination in Malaga. Unfortunately the personnel does not speak English (Spanish only). Recommended for short stays and if you plan to visit Malaga all day.

Hotel Trebol is a basic structure offering small bedrooms with bathroom included. The rooms are small but it is not a problem if you are alone and/or not need special comforts and facilities. The staff is kind and they clean the room everyday. The location is perfect because you are in the centre of Malaga, and you can also easly reach the railway and bus stations. Probably, it should be better to have the breakfast included into the fee, that is low but not enough to exclude a small buffet into the hall, where they should better use the space.

Nice and comfortable room, friendly staff. Very good value for money. Conveniently located to visit Malaga. Surprisingly cheap parking.

A small room (but not unexpected) with a bathroom in normal condition; all very clean and cosy. Good hotel stuff, friendly and helpful. In the immediate vicinity of the nicest places of Malaga city.

the hotel should get more "stars" - it is not just a 1 star hotel, I would give at least 2. The location is very central and still very quiet at night. I stayed in Malaga only for half a day and one night. The location of the hotel gave me the possibility to visit the most important part of Malaga in an afternoon, including 2 museums. To get to the airport the next morning by train was very easy and quick.

So worth the money. Good location, helpful staff. Rooms cleaned every day. I had understood it as though every room had a balcony. I didn't get one first, but they helped me to get a room with a a balcony for three nights. Hotel Trebol is a one-star hotel, but I've stayed in three-star hotels that weren't this good. This said about both the rooms, the staff and the location.

location of the hotel is good; short walk to the pedestrian city center. the surrounding is not good, and the room is too small; however, it is clean, safe and quiet. it is okay for one or two nights stay (not more)

Very nice hotel well located in the old city near all the touristic places to be visited. It's a family affair and I felt secured living there. The owner was kind enough to help me to find an adapter for my laptop (american vs european). It took me 1/2 hre to fix this problem. Thanks. First trip to Malaga and for sure I won't hesitate to book again to this hotel. I liked also the internet (cable) in the room, and this service was included in the price. And finally, no problem booking via internet just 2 days prior my arrival.
