Hotel Silken Puerta Málaga - Málaga

Exellent breakfast. Close to railway station and buss station. 20 min walking to the old part of the city.

The hotel was ideal for our our short stay as it was near the train station and easy connection to airport. Check-in and out was a little hesitant and slow but otherwise the staff were very helpful and courteous. We had an unfortunate pickpocketing experience in Malaga down by the Alcazaba in case you would like to warn people of this possibility which did not endear us to the city.

I chose this hotel bacause it is near the train station, for which I am very satisfied. However the surroundings around this part of the city are uninteresting. We took a taxi into the old city center for dinner. The room was clean and nice but had no comfortable chairs to relax. It was reasonably good value for the cost of the room.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was for the price charged. Sometimes the pictures make a place look better than it is; that was not the case here. The real bonus is the #19 bus connection to the airport, located right across the street. The food was excellent (not always true at a hotel restaurant) and the room was spacious. I was very pleased.

High quality room. No tea/coffee making facilities. Very convenient for railway station / airport. Very good for the price.

The staff was outstanding. They offered us help with any questions we had and directed us to the public transportation. The only downside was the fact that the hotel is not in the center of town and did require a short bus trip. The upside was that it was 2 blocks from the train station. We would definitely stay there again.

Room very spacious - breakfast very good - located near the train and bus station - with lots of mall around to find food, if you do not want to eat at the hotel all the time. Parking very convenient.

Hotel ottimo, stanze lussuose e spaziose, centro benessere a disposizione degli ospiti bellissimo, competenti, tanti servizi offerti, fianco stazione centrale autobus e treni, non tanto distante da tutte le attrazioni, max 15/20 minuti a piedi, consigliatissimo.

We are very happy to have chosen this hotel because the relationship quality/price is very good. The room was very spacious, clean and quite and the jacuzzi free for the hotel guests is amazing. Moreover, it is very near to the centre of Malaga, and we could visit the city by walk. We would chose it again, for sure!

Stayed for 2 nights, generally a very satisfactory stay. The only issue is that the hotel is placed beside a quite busy street, so there where some traffic noise. The hotel is placed just beside the train and bus stations - a bit away from the old town center.

It was the first time I stayed at Hotel Silken Puerta Malaga. I did choose it for 2 reasons - had previous very good experience with the Silken brand, and the location is very convienent, the airport bus stopping right at the hotel.

The gym needs improvement.

If you're arriving by bus or by train, this hotel is only about 300m away. We walked from the bus stop. The bus and train stops are attached together and have a shopping mall and movie theatre inside. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not located in the heart of Malaga, but the bus stops right outside. The staff were the friendliest we encountered during our entire stay in Spain.

Excellent hotel, all new and modern as most of the hotels we stayed at in Spain. Highly recommneded. Staff welcoming and helpful.

It's a really nice hotel and really close to the train station with a bunch of sotres and places to eat. The services were good and the hotels nice and clean.

In an excellent location for the railway station (about 150 metres), so if you are travelling to or from the airport this is an ideal hotel. It is also within about 15 minutes walk to the start of the main city centre although there are plenty of buses going past the hotel (and the main bus station is the other side of the railway station). There is not much going on in the area around the hotel. To pick on a previous comment, the hotel name is not clear as the name 'Silken' is not mentioned! The hotel is named "Puerta Malaga", with the name Silken displayed on the flags outside the entrance. The only problem we had was that they couldn't find our Venere reservation!!! I strongly suggest that after booking online you contact the hotel and make sure they have received it. This hotel is excellent value and quality. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. It is definitely a business hotel but still a very good base for the tourist. We would definitely use it again.

Location near railway and bus station. Modern, nice hotel. Twin room of adequate size (quite big). I recommend the hotel.

The staff of this hotel was outstanding: very friendly and helpful, not only to the numerous business travellers. The breakfast down in the bar (or outside) was very good and reasonably priced. Within 15 min walk you are on the market in the city center. The station is opposite of the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay (2 nights). Only disadvantage: car park is 12.50 EUR and since there is a construction site it is not easy to find first time by car.

The hotel represents value for money and, in general, delivers on the details given on the website. My only gripe is that the 'gym' doesn't,to all intents and purposes,exist. It is a room with 2 bikes (one of which was broken) and a low quality rowing machine which was very disappointing but other than that the hotel was, in my opinion, above average.

Hotel molto carino e pulito un pò distante dal centro.

I stayed 4 days (3 nights) in Màlaga.The hotel is overall excellent and about price/quality relationship too, even though I suggest to reserve a room some months before in order to have a lower room rate. The surroundings are not full of life by night, although it is a quiet zone; the nearby beach sees very few tourists, while the more popular is the Malagueta, easily reachable by a 10min-bus trip. The center too is reachable pleasantly by a 15min walk or by bus. Nearly in front of the hotel there are the train and bus stations. Therefore it is excellently furnished. I suggest it.

The streets on the small map was difficult to find on a larger city map (the small map gives no idea about which part of the city the hotel is located).

Hard too find Hotel/ outside Sign nearly invisible. Hotelname nowhere shows" Silken" After 45 minutes crousing and asking finaly found. Biger Sign on the Roof and clear Hotelname wood help !!!

Hotel very well cared for and staff friendly and helpful

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, surrounding area let it down a little, although ideally situated near the train station and airport. Would certainly stay again.
