Hotel Cortijo La Reina - Málaga

The distance from the city is relative far for sightseeing and the route is quite curved. Unfortunately, we have very bad weather (rainy and foggy). At a nice weather could be the stay here nice.

Beautiful country resort located 12 km. from Malaga in a quiet countryside with swimming pool and excellent common areas and outside spaces. Rooms not very big but nicely decorated. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant in a beautiful terrace but breakfast must be improved, especially the croissants and biscuits wich are not fresh homemade. Good street indications from the motorway but needs better indications from Malaga city centre, very difficult to reach if you do not have a GPS.

First time at hotel...thought it would be closer to the airport.

A surely impressive hotel, in a wonderful position over the montes of Malaga. The rooms were clean and spacious, unfortunately the reception didn't tell us that the breakfast wasn't included.... and that's 9 euros per each, a day!

Un lieu paisible et magnifique. un accueil agréable et en français. nous avons été surclassés. belle chambre et mini golf au milieu des orangers... Très bonne table pour 50 euros avec le vin et les cafés pour deux. un beau souvenir -

Če hočete priti do hotela morate nujno najeti avto, vendar je tudi s tem razmerje med ceno in ponujenim izvrstno. Ko boste našli Lidl, vas bodo kažipoti brez težav usmerili k hotelu. Prijazno okolje, očarljivost hotela, mir, profesinlanost in prijaznost osebja, dobra hrana in širok razpon aktivnosti so veliki plusi hotela, je pa res, da sem glede urejenosti pričakoval več. Idilo motijo gnijoče fige na tleh, smrad po kanalizaciji ob bazenu, občasen ščurek in mravlje. Res pa je, da glavna sezona za ta hotel pač ni poleti. --- Once you find the Lidl store you can't miss the hotel, signposts will lead you to it. Area around the hotel is friendly, the hotel itself is very charming, staff is friendly and proffessional, food is excellent and there is a wide variety of activities, however there are minuses. There were rotting figs on the floor (stinky!), the area around the pool smelled of sewage, there is an odd cockroach and ants. The billiard sticks were completely worn out. But the main season for this hotel probably isn't in the summer.

Beautiful place, very quiet. Not easy to reach but worth the trip after an hectic drive in Malaga.Price of lodging and food very acceptable. Only negative point: water use very noisy.

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine dans cet hôtel.Il est situé dans un environnement magnifique qui ressemble à la Toscane. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la quiétude de l'endroit, la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité de la cuisine proposée par le restaurant, très raffinée.

We were very disappointed because this beautifully located hotel had no maintenance at all. It seemed as if guests only disturbed the personnel. All public areas had not been looked after for at least several weeks.

We really appreciated the free upgrade, the great restaurant and the quiet environment. A relaxing moment away from the bussy day to day activity.

We came to this hotel during our honeymoon and stayed for 1 night.Our room was quiet+clean,the staff was friendly and dinner was excellent (but expensive).We took 20 Minutes from the city of Malaga to the hotel.We will return at our next visit in Malaga.

Property is nice even though a bit more maintenance to the facilities would not damage. For lovers of out-of-town places.

A very lovely hotel thats worth the visit. Fantastic views. There was skeleton staff when we stayed, probably because there was a wedding onsite! So when we ordered drinks after hours even for residence we was told not available, there was no room service and when I complained by writing to the management, no reply was sent to me. Would I stay here again, yes but take your own tipple if you want a late drink and even though the poor receptionist does her best to do everything, don`t expect to much, service wise!

Nice & quiet place but a bit to far from Malaga. Not easy to find.

We were here for the first time. The location and the hotel are wonderful. Perhaps we were there in the wrong season. It was too cold in the rooms and in the dining-room. The employees weren`t able to make the air-condition work correctly. There are no other restaurants nearby and we only saw two other guests in the hotel.

What a gem of a hotel! This was one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed at in Europe. Its rural location was gorgeous and the facilities were outstanding. Service was great and the food was delicious! We highly recommend it.

En retrait de MALAGA, sur les hauteurs, à la fraîche, loin du bruit et de la chaleur, hotel très agréable et tranquille pour buller autour de la piscine.Excellent rapport qualité prix.

A nice small hotel located off the beaten path. Completely relaxing, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for someplace quiet this is it.
