I was looking for a cheap layover for my family of 5. I got cheap. Despite emailing in advance, the hotel did not provide Cots and even if they did it wouldn't have fitted into the room. My Spanish wasn't up to complaining, and their English wasn't up to anything so I chalked this up to experience. The rooms were "ok", but noisy as this hotel is on a rat run between the port and main town. Handy if you want to walk into town, rubbish if you want to sleep. The Air Con was too small for the room and didn't cool the room, and the bathrooms could've been cleaner. The "cafe" was closed when we stayed there so no on-site drinks/eating facilities were available. The lift was also too small for a pushchair, so I was lugging that up 3 flights of stairs to get to the room (even Reception is on floor 2). All round, not the best..... Worth paying more elsewhere for a better sleep in my experience.

I been now allready 3 times here, allways happy. best situated in town, airport express and main station in walking distance; hotel few meters to port, oldtown, nice malagawinebar just up the street. well equiped with airco (in winter for heating use functional). as in most hotels roomdoors are thin, but was not disturbed in morning. as single travel in low session get upgreat in doubleroom (some singlerooms are bit small, but functional too)WITHOUT ASKING FOR THAT :-) will be back of course

Brilliantly located, spotlessly clean. Room was average size, perfect for one or two nights. Air conditioning only went to 18c so it may be warm in summer.

Excellent location and very helpful staff even if they didn't have a map of Malaga. Very quick to get to from airport and easy to get to bus, train station etc. The foyer wasn't too glamorous but the room was excellent even if the shower was a bit of a challenge. Fantastic value for money.

Hotel has indeed an ideal location, right next to the port, yet 2 min walking to the main street, most of all 2 min walking to the bus stop for the bus to Malaga airport. Room is spacious enough and comfortable, very clean. Excellent price/quality rank. Only inconvenience is that there eas a construction site adjacent, that started work around 4 or 5 AM. Other inconvenience would be that hotel staff on duty did not speak English.

In Malaga for Holidays we appreciated this hostel for its location, near the centre, and its cleanliness. The welcoming was not very friendly, but other receptionists were more sympathetic than the first one.

Have visited Malaga many times, stayed in different grades of hotels, this one good value for money, 2 minutes walk from the Alameda and Old Town. Only criticisms are: no fridge nor safety deposit box in room, only one small lift, be prepared to walk upstairs, hotel also on 2nd floor of building upwards so maybe not suitable for mobility impaired. Helps to speak some Spanish for reception (OK you lazy tourists, learn it, its easy!). Otherwise very satisfactory family run and controlled establishment. Easy to access by car if the signs and instructions are followed correctly, plenty of paid parking close-by, the hotel may have a deal with some of them.

Positives: the room cleanliness and current decor/room finishes was excellent. Location was close enough to attractions to be convenient but not in the midst of everything. Provided a map of the city. Negatives: pillow was very hard and noise from other rooms and exterior carried. Initially encountered issues of hotel not having my reservation despite having compies of Venere confirmation as well as a pre-trip welcoming e-mail from the hotel. Non-English speaking. Sumary: Despite initial inconvenience/confusion over my booking--I would stay there again given the location, price/value and room cleanliness.

This hotel has a very good location : not far from the center of Malaga, and very close to bus stops (in particular, Malaga airport is directly accessible by bus from one of these bus stops.)

The Hotel is in a very good location for walking, if you have a car it's a nightmare as you are in the middle of the city with narrow streets and no parking. We received a parking ticket within the first hour of arriving. A real problem when trying to get the luggage out of the car into the Hotel as the street is crazy with traffic. The lift is tiny, the room is very clean but tiny also we had 3 of us in the room and with our suit cases no room to move around. Bathroom was tiny but spotless, the room was very dark we had to have the light on during the daylight hours, our room had no outlook at all the small window opened out to a dark lane way surounded by other tall buildings. I would'nt stay here again.

A good accomodation in the very centre of the city. Between the paseo and alameda. There's also a public car pak in the surroundings but be careful in the this area
