The breakfast was VERY good; the staff was very friendly and eager to help - they gave us maps to the closest good restaurants and researched the Mainz Fasching parade route for us. The rooms were not huge, but they were quiet, clean and newer looking. I would definitely stay there again and would return to the Besitos Tapas Bar they recommended.

The room was clean, but there was an appalling problem with a sewer-like smell coming from the drain in the shower. The cleaning lady was unable to fix the problem, and the staff offered another room, but because this was a handicapped room, I was reluctant to give it up. However, I think their whole drainage system needs a major overhaul. In other respects, it was fine, but the hotel's own website could make the location and the method for entering its underground garage much clearer. Breakfast (wonderful) was an extra 14 euros a day, and parking was extra, too. Staff very friendly but very inexperienced.
