The hotel was okay but the internet never did work for the 3 days that we stayed there. We were told that the technical staff was "working on it" but never did fix it. Also, the air conditioning was not very good (it may have been turned off for the season although it was still quite warm outside) and there was little air flow in the room.

Staff was fantastic- welcoming, knowledgeable and good with individuals who speak little spanish. Rooms were largest we have seen in Europe- Bathroom was clean/nice and there was even a kitchenette area. Hotel was located right in the heart of Grand Via- close to the main sites and less than a block from the metro.

The lady on reception was fantastic. very helpful. professional and polite. i'm sorry i cant remember her name to give her a special mention. we stayed 1 night in madrid and really enjoyed the vibrancy. recommedn doing a bus tour and the we went back to the parks and enjoyed the walking. there is an area which seems to specialse in tapas which the reception will show you on the map.. its a treasure trove of amazing eateries... so many places ..so little time. suite 33 is perfectly placed to enjoy the city. the only thing i would say is that the kitchens in the suite are not equipped at all, so if you wanted to self cater it would be difficult.

The area is central indeed, with Metro and buses at a few hundred meters. Many restaurants within a mile radius, with a lot of choice, especially with non-Spanish cuisines. Beware of the local Starbucks place! Incompetent and unfriendly. Room was very good except for the room's water heater, which was in plain sight and really a sore in the otherwise nice room. However, the fact that there was a boiler, together with a full kitchen, is certainly a plus for families or people with special needs with regards to food. Staff was nice and multilingual. Parking requires a bit of effort since you'll have to resort to a nearby hotel's valet service, but it's cheap compared to nearby parking garages. If you don't need sophisticated services from your hotel, but just need a clean place to sleep, possibly making your own food, with good position, Internet and some international TV, this is the place to go in Madrid.

Hotel itself is nice & clean, although the location is in a slightly seedy side street off Plaza de Espana. On the other hand, it is very central. They offer no breakfast, but have an agreement with a partner hotel close by. I recommend to use the bar down the street instead which is better & cheaper.

Ideal room, perfectly located, enventually breakfast service could be an interesting improvment but a kitchen in the room allows to buy a coffee outside by night and heat it in the morning with microoven

Gem of a place, convenient to metro. Vacation travel, made us wish we had booked more days in Madrid. They thought of every convenience and provided it in a stylish, generous way. Great room lighting, large room and bathroom. New, modern, clean with very competent, helpful staff speaking English and several other languages.

Hotel confortevole e pulito.

The front entry to the hotel is laughably minimal(have a map even if you take a taxi) but once inside, it is excellent. The staff was helpful and cheerful. The room was quiet. We did not use the kitchenette for cooking but the sink was exceptional for doing some clothes washing and the counter top was handy for laying out our traveling items. The neighborhood was a little seedy but a left out the door and a one block walk puts you onto a nice part of Gran Via near Plaza Espana.

The hotel rooms are very nice, it'slocated in the very centre of Madrid (5 minutes walk from Palazzo reale), the room has a small kitchen that can be very useful for a 3/4 days vacation. It's well furnished and clean. no restaurant and if you want breakfast you need to go in another hotel and this wasn't comfortable. But in general very good hotel

First time in Madrid, found the reviews to pick this hotel very helpful. Very well located, just half a block from a metro station, just a 10 minute walk from most historical sites, Opera, Palacio Real. The rooms were nice, very clean. My only remark would be a little noise from the people in the halls, otherwise I would rate everything perfect. Price vs. Benefit great! Would come back to the hotel.

Sehr preiswert! Hotel liegt ideal. Achtung bei der Adresse- Hausnummer ist 13!

The hotel is brand new so everything is clean and nice. Our room was quite large and had a kitchen, but no plates, utensils, glasses or cookware- which rather defeats the purpose of having a kitchen if you can't use it. We basically stored our drinks in the fridge but weren't going to buy cookware or utensils for a couple of nights. The neighborhood was so-so, not unsafe necessarily but not as nice as other areas. It was a short walk to the metro though, so that was nice. Even the Puerta del Sol was a manageable walk.

Hotel Suites 33 is very well located because it's very central. Personal very friendly and helpful. Nice rooms. The only problem is that there's a Police Station just next door: so you're really safe but you've lots of noise all night long, as there are always emergency police cars comming and going (specially friday and saturday nights!
