Rafaelhoteles Orense - Madrid

This hotel was ok only 5 min walk from bernabeu stadium which was the main reason for our trip. The room was spacious and the bed huge and very comfortable. We had paid for breakfast but only went the once as it was not very good, coffee was luke warm and the food was very disappointing. I would stay here again but not pay for the breakfast as the location for walking distance to stadium and bars was good. There is a starbucks right opposite wheer we ended up getting our coffee!

Our tour left from this hotel so we didn't get much choice as to where to stay in Madrid. The hotel was too far out from the city centre & it involved 2 line changes on the metro to get there. The surrounding area of the hotel looks like a 1960-70s concrete jungle. The rooms certainly need additional soundproofing as the noise from passing traffic & partygoers is really bad. Having said that the rooms are nicely appointed & large.

I choosed this hotel because of the distance to Santiago Bernabeu,just ten minutes walk! It was also easy to find restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel. I will return, thats for sure!

I stayed here in order to attend a conference at the convention centre, which is less than 2 blocks away. It was clean and convenient. There were no phone charges when I used a calling card. There is free internet and colored inkjet printer in the lobby. Staff is fluent in English. Diagonally across the street is a cornerstore/grocery, which is good for basics and of course, a calling card. A few more blocks away is El Corte Inglese, which is a large department store with a supermarket. The area is safe. Transit is convenient. There are many normal adults out at night here, so we had no problems with returning from a night downtown. Madrid is well-policed.

Business service provided were poor: for problem to the internet cable we should wait too much.

The hotel is in a quiet side road. There is a supermarket nearby and some bars. Good restaurants are in walking distance. No free internet access, no WLAN, but costly LAN access available.

It is a very pleasant surprise! It is very cheap for a 4 star hotel and most importantly, the room is very spacious and clean. It just makes you one to stay inside. It is only 5 minutes walk to the Metro Santiago Bernabeau and 1 min walk to a convenient store. Besides the hotel is a cafe that serves really great hot chocolate and churros. Must try! It is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in for my trip and surprisingly it's also the cheapest. The only really downside is that it is slightly further away from the city centre. But hey, you are still near the Metro and I prefer the quiet surroundings.I strongly recommend this hotel.
