The hotel is modern and in a great location for shopping and access to the center by metro or taxi. They give you a discount coupon for their restaurant. We used it and came back. The food is modern: beautifully arranged, tasty dishes. They allow you to get half portions of the entrées. One strange thing: there was a light that could not be turned off! It was lacking the required chain. It was plugged behind the min-bar, so the plug was hard to reach. So the only way that I could turn it off was to unplug the light bulb! I notified the front desk, plus two other minor repair requests. The handy man came and fixed the two, but explained that in most of the rooms that light is plugged to an outlet controlled by a switch by the headboard. But in a few rooms the furniture had to be arranged differently, and that light got plugged in an inaccessible outlet. He offered to look for a lamp with a switch for me, but he never came back. The front desk offered to switch rooms, but I declined. My question: how many hours have travelers wasted looking fro a non-existing switch to turn off that light? :) Nevertheless, we plan to come back to this hotel.
