This hotel is right in the town center of Madrid, at a few steps from Las Cortes, the spanish Parliament. You need no bus nor subway to visit all the three major Madrid museums and the surroundings are filled with shops and restaurants. Anton Martin metro stop is at a 5 minutes walk. Rooms are quiet and of stardard quality and there is internal parking on the basement floors. Poor commons spaces, but I was out all the day long, so this was not a problem at all.

The staff were very nice. I asked for a flamenco recommendation and they suggested a very touristy flamenco show. I was hoping for something a little more authentic but when I mentioned this, they did not seem to have much more information. Other than that, they were great! I will highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Madrid.

Booked this room on a deal - and a great deal it was too (I think it might have been a little pricey at full cost). Room was very good size (I think better than the normal, as we had a corner room)and bathroom spacious. Location was brilliant, hardly had to take transport at all. Reception staff were a little cold, shall we say, but that didn't bother me. Room service was good and not overpriced. Cleaners were lovely. I saw other Vincci hotels in the area, but this looked by far the best. I recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located at a very central location, you can visit all the main attractions of Madrid in 10 minutes maximum by foot. The rooms are spotless and they have enough space, the only negative thing is the soundproofing of the rooms specially them that looks on the street, the night the area becomes very vivid and you can hear a lot of the street noise. I would definitely recomend this hotel.

We chose the hotel because of convenient location. Because we were there in April, the Air Conditioning was not yet on for the hotel, so we needed to leave the window open to cool the room. At night when the window was open, the street noises were quite apparent (and being Madrid, continued until around 4AM). This would not be a problem at other times of year.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. For a quick stay (2 days) it is walking distance to the museums and many sights. The buffet breakfast, although not included in the room cost, was great and the outdoor terrace was beautiful. I found my room to be a bit noisy as it faced the main street, but it did not keep me up at night. Great hotel.

Good location. Lovely hotel. Clean and updated room. The room was small, but it was very nicely appointed. The location is about midway between the Prada and the Royal Palace. It is walking distance to both, however, slightly closer to the Prada.

The page of the hotel said the breakfast was not included, and the price was 15 euros. I have this in my reservation. In the first morning, the price charged was not 15 euros, but 16. The man said this price was on the past !!!!! In June 2009 I saw another time the homepage, and the price announced for the breakfast in 15 euros !!!! This is not serious!

There were no rooms available at the Vincci Soho (even with a reservation) so they walked us to another hotel in the chain, Vincci Centrum. The Vincci Centrum was very nice (looked like the pictures of Vincci Soho). It was closer to Gran Via and on a more central road. The general manager was apologetic and provided an amenity as well as including breakfast.

When travelling for business i spend quite some time in the room either working or resting. Watching TV suppose to be relaxing. But unfortunately all channels are in Spanish (it is a joke to watch CCN or BBC world all the time). THEY SHOULD HAVE SOME GENERAL OR MOVIE CHANNELS IN ENGLISH.NOT ONLY PAY TV.

Though its attempts at a designer look are a bit hit and miss, especially in the public areas, this is a comfortable medium-priced hotel, under 10 minutes' walk from the Prado and about 10 minutes' walk to the centre of Madrid. Good value.

Disappointing. The room was was pleasant but was all design (good). It had dark décor and was badly lit - our bathroom was large but dark. The hanging space was laughably small for a week's stay. Our room was very quiet. The hotel was clearly not used to tourists. The reception area was dark and unwelcoming. The staff could not tell us about train times. We were told it was "impossible" to travel from Madrid to Toledo by train (there is a high speed service which takes 30 minutes!). They panicked about "the size of" our bill and asked for a deposit 5 days into our 7 day stay! The hotel building is probably 4 star, the reception is not. The location was great for us - nicely between the old and Bourbon towns. Lots of eating houses round about.

Beautifully decorated hotel. Friendly helpful staff, rooms modern and well decorated with 3 balconies! As rooms faced the road it was a little noisy at night if you want to go to bed by 12 as the noise probably dies down after 2 but if you're out parting like I was then it's nothing to worry about. Would recommend to a friend.

The room was clean, quiet good and very modern. The hotel was in a very good location (city center). However, the metro station is not working so another route to the hotel was required. On the website the hotel is quite far from the metro station (not working) which was provided. More accurate directions are needed. The staff was unpleasant and did not want to help with directions to the airport. They just simply handed over the maps and implied that we should find our own way or take a taxi. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel due to the above reasons (misrepresentation of location and staff issues).

The best thing going for this hotel is the location-very close to the Prado and the Thyssen and less than 10 minutes walk from the Playa Major. The room was very small and a bit gloomy. The bathroom was stylish but also small although the shower (there was no bath) was good. It was fine for 1 person but would have been very cramped for 2. The staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful. I had to press them to make enquiries about ticket availability for events. The hotel represents reasonable value for money and I might use it again but not before investigating other options.

Wow,cool! Very "loungy", W-style. Situated in the Museum district and park, quiet compare to other Vincci on Gran Via in the theater district (town center). For North Americans, there is a Starbucks 2 minutes walk! Hotel is near Plaza Santa Ana (Metro Sol) and enjoy the open air terraces and Tapas before later eating in one of the many nearby restaurants.

We stayed in room 325 (twin double room) which was really spacious, modern and it felt like being at home. The hotel had prepared a complimentary tray in the room with ham, fresh fruits, water and chocolates which was excellent (it was my mum 60's birthday). Fresh flowers had been delivered to the room without any worries. Staff was really helpful and location was ideal = at 5 minutes from the Prado and Thyssen museums. This hotel has personality and I would recommend it 100%. xxxxxxx

The indication from the metro to the hotel were not clear and real, they state "a few meter from the metro" but it takes at least 10' of walk to reach the hotel. once you find the hotel you will be for sure satisfied. we checked-in at 2 o'clock in the might but they were nice with us. I would suggest it for sure, and in case I will return to Madrid I will reconsider the stay in this hotel.

My first hotel while travelling Spain and it was the best out of 3. Though the key card doesn't work properly the first day but it got fixed sooner than we thought. Only one plug per room makes it difficult for those of us who have respirators, cell phones, and laptop computers! Most of the television channles were in German rather than Spanish or English. I stayed couple of days in Madrid. Hotel location is ok, couple of hundred meters from the entertainment area, bars, restaurants. I found the hotel nice and the rooms are modern and chique. Bad thing is that you could really hear stuff from your neighbours, showers, etc. I did not enjoy the breakfast, having to pay like 16 euros for it, while you can get for 10 euros a reasonable portion of tapas with wine. I would definetelly include the breakfast in the price, to make it all round satisfactory.

Very modern but comfortable room. Early check-in was not allowed so since our plane arrived in the morning, we were made to wait several hours to get a room. Staff let us in before the check-in time by about 2 hours, so that alleviated the problem somewhat. As in many city hotels, street noises were noticeable and woke us up at various early hours. That is a location issue. First morning we had no hot water, but that was not a problem for the 2nd and 3rd mornings. We didn't report it and don't know what happened. Very friendly staff. Yo hablo espanol, y por eso todos fueron muy agradables conmigo, aunque mi espanol es un poco "latino" (Mejicano) me dijeron.

Much better hotel and location than the Vincci Centrum. Personnel still a little iffy (receptionist was unable to locate a restaurant, had to make the reservations myself) but an improvement. They were aware I had stayed at another of their hotels, and that I was unhappy with the service there, and "hoped my stay at this hotel would be better." Rooms are very small, the location was very good, on a nice street, and only steps away from the Thyssen-Bornemisa and El Prado Museums. Overall, I was satisfied with most of the stay.

The hotel has a fantastic location - walking distance to most of the major sights and lots and lots of restaurants, bars and tapa and live music places just around the corner. If you like modern design, this is the place to stay. The room, facing the backyard, was very quiet (not easy to find in Madrid)and just beautifully furnished. THe hotel is good value for the location and the prices quoted. The facilities are very new and the hotel is very arte moderne in its decor but can sometimes come across as a little pretentious. The room was comfortable but perhaps not the most efficient in its design as the bathroom took almost half the floor space. As we drove to the the hotel, it was impossible to park while dropping off luggage and there was no hotel parking which your information indicated that there was, I believe. The staff were very friendly and courteous but not very knowledgeable about Madrid. Our room faced the street and was very noisey to the point where we slept very poorly

Very stylish, modern hotel within an older building! The photographs of the public areas do not do them justice -they are just beautiful. The high design found everywhere in the hotel made this a wonderful experience. Although this was the highest price hotel in which we stayed on our recent trip to Sevilla, Cordoba, and Madrid, we felt it was well worth it. The location is very convenient to many of the major attractions.
