We wanted to visit and to relax in the spa.We got 2 rooms: one very noisy on gran via and one inside without light and without privacy if we open the window! no air ! we took the hotel also for spa but it was closed for this period without having been informed at the reservation! NO WIFI neither. one room has never been refurnished with soap, shampoo...breakfast was excellent, personnel however could be sometimes mas agradable! having a plane in the afternoon we have asked the possibility (as it is often granted) to keep one room 2 hours more, but the staff (Mr. Dony) didn't even let us finish the question and he answered very roughly NO unless we pay half the price (my husband was near to have a heart attack with this impoliteness never encountered before)

The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. There were always staff available with excellent English to assist when needed. A perfect base for exploring Madrid - and good relaxation and services in Spa area. I and my 16 year old daughter would both return to this hotel.

Everything was very good until the very end. Having advertised a shuttle bus to the airport (6euros) the hotel took my money and I was booked. When the bus did not arrive - and the travel company informed the manager that they would not be sending a replacement, she shrugged her shoulders and said I would have to take a taxi. Suppose I hadn't got the money for a taxi at the end of my stay? - Too bad. Not the hotel's responsibility. Rubbish. Of course it's the hotel's responsibility. For the sake of 15 euros that changed a happy customer into an unhappy customer. In fact if they'd merely offered to pay I would have been happy and would have paid myself.

How to reach Hotel Spa Senator España

By airplane
From the Madrid-Barajas International Airport, take the undergound line n. 8 towards Nuevos Ministerios, where you have to step off. Then, switch to line n. 10 in the direction of Puerta del Sur and get off at Plaza de España stop. Take the Leganitos exit and you will find the hotel a few metres away.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a no-show reservation or a cancellation not made 1 day before of the arrival date, ne night room rate plus the applicable taxes will be charged on your cerdit card. PLEASE NOTE: Deadline for reservations for stays between 20th June and 13th September 2009 is 5 days before checkin.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 1 day before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
