Hotel Silken Puerta Madrid - Madrid

Very good and rich breakfast-buffet. Helpfull staff. Bus stop very near to hotel (number 114 and 146). Big bedrooms with a great bathroom (bath and shower). Althought the hotel is near the highway, you can not hear the traffic. Free WIFI in the room.

The Silken hotel is located very near A2 in a residential/commercial area and very close to Bus-stop for bus 146 which will take you directly to Madrid center. Although we could watch the traffic on A2, there was no traffic noise to speak of. The rooms have been recently re-carpeted - but not the hallways. Still, its very well appointed and the staff could not have been more helpful. One note, there are not a lot of choices for eating around the hotel, but within 5 minutes is a great Japanese restaurant called Matsuri - you must go - have their "Matsuri" rice.

The hotel is excellent, very clean and well run. It is a 10-15 min walk to the metro and about 40 min metro ride into the city. The buffet breakfast is excellent.

New, confortable and clean. Bus stop to the centre of Madrid round the corner, easy and cheap. I recommend this hotel to neat and sporting travellers. The staff is young and friendly.

I have my reservation number with me but they didin't have my reservation not even the one I made with the price I found in venere.com but with the number they finally let me the room for the same price as my reservation. But they were really nice and helpful.

It's a very good hotel for Barajas airport transfers.

The breakfast was not included, but we thought it was. (In my opinion it didn't say that clear enough on the confirmation voucher! That is why i rated the "prices quoted" low. The price got 32 Euros more expensive!) We had to pay 16 Euros per person (which is quite a lot for 1 or 2 pieces of white bread!!) But the stay was ok, besides from that incident.

The personnel at the reception when we arrive was really unfriendly. In addition at the arrival you will asked to pass the credit card as guarantee. The hotel for the rest is quite beautiful (business type) but positioned between the city and the airport, howerver with the highway you can reach the center in about 20 minutes.

A VERY NICE HOTEL WITH SPACIOUS ROOMS. WE CAME BY CAR AND IF NOT COULD BE A LITTLE FAR FROM THE CENTRE. MAYBE THERE IS A GOOD CONNECTION(?)

Excellent value, beautiful hotel. Staff extremely knowldgable and helpful. The only negative is the location, not near a metro stop. We took the Metro from the airport to the central bus terminal and the 114 bus directly to the hotel. If you can manage the Madrid bus system, which is very extensive and very user frienly, you will be okey at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Puerta Madrid to others.

Cet hotel est au top, c'est un quatre étoiles avec confort, moderne, mini-bar, le bus 114 n'est pas loin pour le centre ville. salle de bains est équipee de douche + baignoire

E' un ottimo albergo. Consigliato, data la posizione, a chi possiede un mezzo di trasporto proprio.

Modern Hotel with high international standard.

The hotel is not located in the position shown in the map. It is near to the airport, so it took more than two hours to get there, because nobody knew the street. We were obbliged to ask eventually its location to an other hotel. The hotel is really high level and the room was clean and confortable. it's just a problem to get there but at the end it can be a right choice due to the price and the service offered.

It was good hotel, as we drove so more indication could have been more useful because the route by car is quite complicated to find the place at first time... I expected buffet breakfast , it was menu , not bad....but buffet could have been better...
