Hotel Room Mate Mario - Madrid

Perfect location!!! Near the right Metro station (Opera). Quite noisy in the night. Ask for a room not on the street otherwise you will completely taste la movida!! Everything else perfect!!!!

I love Madrid!!!

Quiet and convenient hotel close to the Opera. Free wifi and free breakfast at reasonable prices with well maintained rooms make this a hotel we will go back to again. This was already our 4th stay and no complaints so far.

We had a lovely time in Madrid and having a good hotel simply added to the whole experience. There were no problems and everything met our non-critical standards. Breakfast was super!

Very nice boutique hotel. Attractive rooms, very clean, not large but comfortable. Very good breakfast included in room price. Front desk helpful for restaurants and info. Opera metro block away. Walking distance to all major sites, especially close to the Palace. Not as active an area at night as Room Mate Alicia area.

It met my standard. A bit expensive in regards to the room sizes but surely very nice. Staff was great. Breakfast was lovely. Liked the design. Very pretty hotel.

It was really great time in Room Mate Mario!!! I've never seen so friendly people in the Hotels!!! Mega thanks to all the stuff for making our staying in this fantastic hotel yet more fantastic!!! All our friends are going to visit Room Mate Mario!!! Thanks again and see you again!!

Nous avons apprécié: les qualités humaines et le professionnalisme du personnel. la situation de l'hôtel au centre de tous les points d'intérêt et à pied !. Le calme, la décoration des parties communes. Hôtel très correct bon rapport qualité /prix . Nous avons déploré que les chambres soient un peu exiguës. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous ! nous avons pu visiter Madrid sans difficultés. Notre temps y fût un peu court et nous espérons y revenir et sûrement chez les colocataires de Mario !

Excellent service specially Eva at the front desk. She is the best in regards of customer service. Location is perfect; quiet street and close to the Palace and Plaza Mayor. Breakfast was also a plus and the 100 montaditos restaurant, close by is great for a quick meal.

This hotel is fantastic for the price. Excellent location, clean rooms, and a nice breakfast. Definitely a hidden treasure! The staff are friendly and helpful.

Stayed here previously 2 years ago. Different staff but just as friendly/helpful as before. Hotel in great location and with the free breakfast is great value for money Would definitely stay here again but know it usually gets booked quickly, which is no surprise

O Room Mate Mario é excepcional. A localização é excelente: no centro da cidade, pertinho da Puerta del Sol. Há ótimos restaurantes próximos dele, assim como bares de tapas, lojas e etc. O Metrô fica a poucos metros. O hotel é lindo, os quartos são limpos e super modernos. O staff é gentil e atencioso. O café da manhã incluso na diária é ótimo e funciona até meio dia! Uma dica: se você fizer de Madrid uma cidade base, pode deixar uma parte de suas malas no guarda-volumes do hotel, sem precisar pagar nada por isso. Quando voltar a Madrid, ficarei novamente no Mario. Foi uma ótima e deliciosa experiência!

2 night stay End Feb2008 Great hotel in a good area. very close to the palace and the gardens. Restaurants and bars in the centre area easily reachable on foot. Would stay with them again! J.

The reception staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful in every aspect. We were allowed to amend our booking despite having booked online. Breakfasts were excellent and location was ideal.
