The bathroom does not have a proper door. It only has a glass door separating the bedroom and the bathroom. It feels awkward and does not have much privacy. We had a third bed, and it was really cramped and it was irritatingly squeaky. The room was clean and nice but the drawbacks I mentioned makes it not worth it for the price they asked. It's quite a nice experience but I will not check in to this hotel again.

Ci torneremmo sicuramente.

Everything was great in our 2 nights stay: cleningness, quietness and spaciousness of the room, hotel location, service provided and staff competence and kindness, hence my rate is high and I recommend a stay in this hotel. Only issue is that there is no privacy in the room's toilets as you cannot lock the door and there is no isolation with bedroom which was actually a bit embarassing.

Best location, good price, good quality/price, but small rooms. The door of the bathroom is a glass. Finally is a good hotel. Recomended.

Some parts of the area nearby are rather questionable but we never felt threatened. Within walking distance of the Prado and Puerta del Sol.

The hotel is very nice and clean, for two people in a double room they would be hard pressed to get out of bed without bumping into each other. The bathroom was very generous indeed and could be made a little smaller to accommodate the bed in the room. One great plus was being able to use the internet without charge. The safe mechanism did not always work. Using your credit card to open and close is not the best way as it could damage your magnetic strip. The location of the hotel was a little close to the redlight district and no one cautioned me that it was not advisable to walk through that area at night. However the location in relation to the old town was great and it was good to be able to walk everywhere. Wonderful city to visit enjoyed it very much.

The room was good, modern, but well small. The breaksfast was really good too. The only problem that I had was that they had left a message for me, and the reception did not give to me - because of this I did not found a friend who would find in the trip - and looks at that it asked for messages.

Booking way in advance (at least 2months) will grant you a nice price otherwise a bit too expensive. pictures might mislead as in reality rooms are smaller than they look. Cleanliness is good and rooms brand new.

Although it was a very nice hotel and the staff were really helpful our entire stay was clouded and also the rest of my holiday by the fact that we found some strange insects in our beds that seems to plague us for the rest of our vacation through spain and france. This really spoiled what should have been a wonderful holiday. The staff really went out of their way to accomodate us and correct the situation but by that time the damage was done.

Location was perfect for our purpose, wandering around the city. Right at metro station,Gran Via.Check in and check out were quick and efficient. Room was small, but very modern. The latest shower room design, with frosted glass partitioning, etc. We even got a Christmas hamper delivered to our room!It was very usefull indeed. Breakfast was simple and enough for our needs.

We were perfectly happy with it. The situation relative to the main tourist sites in Madrid is excellent, and it is very close to the Metro. In spite of that it is reasonably quiet. Our only complaint would be that the room got quite hot at night, but perhaps we were just unlucky in being near to main water pipes or something similar. Breakfast is expensive there, but there are plenty of cheap cafes doing breakfast nearby.

This hotel was not very good for a family with children. (I was traveling with 3 kids.) The "family room" had 4 beds (which is why we chose the hotel) but it was small and had things that were dangerous for kids (like glass bathroom doors) or hard for them to use (like fancy shower fixtures that they couldn't reach). The breakfast area was not separate from the lobby so it was hard to keep kids from wandering out the hotel door. I did appreciate that the hotel gave our family a big discount on the daily breakfast prices. The room was not vacuumed once during the 5 nights we stayed there. This hotel is OK for adults. I would have liked it more if I hadn't been with a family group.

The rooms were amazing, very modern. We arrived and there was no hot water but that was restored that day. The last day the alarm was going off in the middle of the night because a water pipe broke and the whole floor was flooded. They did not offer compensation for the inconvenience which was disappointing. But overall, the stay was great, the location was great, the interent and flat screens in the room were great additions too.

This was a very nice hotel. Very modern and free internet access and great location and close to almost everything...checked in to an overbooked hotel and one of the rooms we had a confirmation for they did not have even though we had the print out of the confirmation. There were 7 of us travelling and had to share between 2 rooms. Made shuttle reservations for the airport the next day to get down at check out and had no reservations and no shuttle and no one called to even let us know.

The room was very nice and clean (a 10), and the bathroom was excellent. Welcome: middle. Reason: the reseptionists were serviceminded; they fixed things rapidly, but they were rather arrogant (kepts us waiting although they were not occupied and so on). The room was very quiet. We had to move to another room because of a non-functioning TV, and this was during WM in football, Berlin! We had the same room one floor up. When we asked for help, or to get things fixed, it was done promptly. The room was not spacious, and there was only one chair. The A/C worked excellent. Public areas were OK, but not spacious. Two days with a larger group meant crossing suitcases and luggage in the small floor area of the reception. The staff seemed competent enough. The lady in the breakfast-room was not very forthcoming. The receptionists promised to fix things that we asked for, and it was done, but they were arrogant in their manner. The hotel surroundings were OK; a rather quiet and narrow street outside, with a more trafficy street further up. It was very convenient, with Gran Via metro station only two minutes from the hotel, and bus stops nearby. The main street (Gran Via) was one of the main shopping areas. Prices were OK, services and facilities as expected. Photographs were according to the information on the internet, location the same. There were rooms available, and the staff rapidly moved us to new room when we needed it. The overall stay was as expected, although the staff could improve their manner as goes for service and welcoming. The last day, we experienced more service, but too late. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay in Madrid, much because we stayed in the centre of the city, and could walk to the different sightseeings/restaurants. Breakfast was good, andsufficient. The hotel can be recommended, but the staff need to improve.

Great hotel in quiet street off Gran Via. You can reach all parts of the city centre in a short walk. Very clean room and fantastic shower!!! I would recommend this hotel. One thing though, the ladies at the front desk were very (and i mean VERY) unfriendly. But who cares when you're in good company...
