Hotel Petit Palace Embassy - Madrid

Great location, terrible design. This is a great location for a visit to Madrid. But you have to wonder what the room designers were thinking. We loved having the laptop in the room, but they unnecessarily blocked access to one of the 2 windows with the desk for it. The bedside tables are so low, they are almost on the floor. The frosted glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom means that anyone turning on the bathroom light in the night basically lights up the bedroom also. The glass bathroom door has no door frame so it doesn't provide any privacy. There was black mold on most of the bathroom grout. Bathroom in general was worn and icky. Stains on the ORANGE bedroom chair. I had expected something nicer from the description. Would never stay here again.

Hotel Petit Palace is a very nice chain of Hotels in Spain. Well located and service par excellence. We have used this Hotels in Madrid, Barcelona. they give a 10% discount if you have stayed in any one of their Hotels. This Hotel is very good and staff very courteous. Good Choice to be in.

They gave us 2 double rooms instead of the family room we'd requested, which was fine. The rooms were quite spacious and clean, and even though there was a great deal of construction going on on Calle Serrano, we couldn't hear any of the noise through or double-glazed windows. Again the High-Tech hotel failed to live up to its name as the Wifi didn't work. The staff did try to help, though. Good location, decent facilities, would stay here again.

The room was very clean. and the structure of the room was very fun. One queen bed is on base floor and two single beds are on upstairs. the hotel is near the subway station (within 3minutes walk). and we can go to the prado museum by walk (about 15-20min). the only thing we are disappointed is we could not obtain the discounted tickets for the Warner Park at the reception desk. Nevertheless, our reservation summary of this hotel has informed that we can buy the discounted tickets for the Warner Park at the reception desk .

Great place to stay, nice located in shopping area and close to some business parts. Room is spacious and well equipped. Internet and lap top facility, which is great! Nice and friendly staff!

We absolutely loved our stay at the petit palace embassy. It is a great hotel and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us. The rooms are very modern and it was cool to have a laptop in the room with free access to the internet as well as free minibar. The location is great a well as it is situated in a very posh neighbourhood with all the chic stores within a few yards of the hotel.
