We traveled as a family-- parents and five children between the ages of 8 and 19 yrs. The hotel was refurbished, clean, comfortable and very affordable. The location in Madrid was excellent with easy access to the metro and lots of amentities within walking distance. Hotel personnel were helpful in locating restaurants, getting Mass times and directing us to best modes of transportation for our planned sightseeing. When we return to Madrid we will most probably come back to the Catalonia Centro.

Visiting friends in Madrid. The hotel is very well situated, surrounded by good shops and restaurants and close to the beautiful Retiro park. Only problem I encountered was that the heating in my room malfunctioned on the week-end and was not repaired until Monday as there were no maintenance workers on duty.

Internet, though advertised on the website, didnt work at the hotel. Staff could not help to make it work. I am an advanced and frequent user of mobile hotspots and normally manage to get configured the most unaccesible access points. Thre are very few chances that the problem was in my setup.

My nephew and I were happily surprised at the surroundings and wonderful service at the Hotel Catolina. The staff was very helpful, service oriented, and easy to speak with. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was a surprise after having traveled to other places between London, and the northern part of Spain and Southern part of France and been sorely disappointed.

From Madrid-Barajas international airport, take the underground line 8 until Nuevos Ministerios station, change to line 6 until Avenida América station and change to line 4 until Velázquez station, located 200 metres from the hotel.

The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 4 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than noon.

CANCELLATION POLICY
